Finally, maybe some news, not exactly what one hoped for, but news. I just read tthat a utility worker found the skeletal remains of a little child. All within a half mile of Casey Anthony. WOWSER!!!

ORLANDO, Fla. – Sheriff's deputies say the skeletal remains of a small child have been found near the Orlando home of a missing 3-year-old girl.

The Orange County Sheriff's Office says a utility worker found the body early Thursday, about a half mile from the home of Caylee Anthony's grandparents.

There is nothing that immediately indicates that the bones belong to Caylee Anthony, whose mother Casey Anthony has been charged with murder.

Casey Anthony insists that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but did not report her missing until July.

Could it be????? Whatever the outcome... it is truly sad.

I'm glad there may be closure on this case and for this little girl, but now maybe it will shut the grandparents up!

What I'm shocked about is how close she was found!

Found the story as sad as this find is, I hope its caylee, She deserves to be lay to rest like a human and not discard like this.

I hope they are able to prove it's Caylee. After watching the in-jail telephone converstions with Casey and her mom. I really think her mom believes Casey didn't do it. Love is blind.

I think the mother is in denial. I still believe that her mother knows more than what she has told the police. I watched both the mother and father on Larry King live and I just don't understand why they still feel that Caylee is alive. They can't be stupid enough to buy into all Caseys lies. I don't care how much I loved my child, if I saw the evidence that has been presented, I could not defend the murderer of my grandchild. I was shocked as I listened to her father change his story about the smell in the car....now he feels it wasn't the smell of *death*, but just rotten pizza. I feel as if at this point they would do anything to defend their daughter...

I am truley sad for this child. May he/she rest in peace and may the killer be found and punished.

I wish the body didn't belong to this sweet baby.......but i guess on the plus side, it means that she can be properly buried and mourned. She was and will be an angel always.

Truly truly sad, there are no words to speak of, we are talking about a innocent little baby girl here. If they are her remains she so deserves to be put to rest and the only true solice I can think of her, is that she is now a beautiful angel living in Gods home of pure paradise, where there is no pain and suffering anymore. Latest I've heard is that it is a child's body, undisclosed sex yet, and get this - they found duct tape on her! OMG! New search warrants are being sought for the mothers and the grandparents homes.

Let's all just pray this is caylee and not another poor little child that's lost their life at the hands of a monster. Does anyone have any info when a DNA might be back Ive searched and found nothing on it yet.

This is Orange County FL so this would fall under Dr. Jan Garavalgia's (sp?) jurisdiction and if you all watch her Discovery Health Show Dr G Medical Examiner it could take a couple of weeks, however with this being high profile and with the fact one of the TV stations showed FBI agents at the scene. I would think the FBI would do the DNA and expedite it.

I too hope this is Caylee and not some other poor little unidentified child. They said that this area has always been under water for prior searches and the fact this is so close to the Anthony's home just makes you think it has to be her. No matter who this poor little child is may her little soul now rest in peace and may her killer(s) be brought to a swift and proper justice.

Wouldn't they maybe be able to use dental records? I don't know if a child of that age would have had xrays though. Maybe not.

I wouldn't think so. I know my kids didn't have dental check ups till closer to age 4, Caylee was only 2 when she went missing ( remember she turned 3 a month and half later ). I just hope and pray if this isn't caylee some sick monster has not killed a child in hopes they would believe the body was hers ( By placing her in the same area as the grandparents home etc. ). I hope the FBI does place a speedy DNA profile on the body. God rest this child's soul whom ever it turns out to be.
