I am Excited to...

Do my Christmas/Holiday cards this year and to make fudge, nut brittle, and cookies this weekend.
I have to work tomorrow so it's starting Saturday which will be perfect because it's supposed to snow Saturday and Sunday so I can get my ingredients tomorrow and stay in all weekend.

What are you excited to do still?

Baking my holiday goodies also has me very excited. I really was excited to put up my outside lights and to put up the inside decorations also.

Going to my best friends in Iowa this weekend for our traditional family Christmas get together. I can't wait to see my oldest son (who goes to College in a nearby town) and just be with family.
I don't know what I want to make though.. some of the treats sounds so good! She gave me a list of what to bring/make, but nothing was frou frou chocolately, ooey..yummy..haha.

If I have to make green bean casserole ever again, I swear, I will scream!!!

I am looking forward to finishing up my packages for my mom & stepdad, brother's family, and sister and getting them in the mail. Hopefully, I 'll get that done in time to make Saturday Post Office hours.....

We need to get the Christmas Village set up too....and roping on the staircase....

I'm looking forward to Saturday, too. I have big plans for myself to finally get a big chunk of the preparations finished. Here's my game plan so far:

8:00 Yoga class
10:00 get Christmas tree
11:00 - 1:00 work on book I'm making for yoga instructor (paper bag scrapbook with a prayer theme)
1:00 - 2:00 lunch, declutter
2:00-3:00 wrap presents
3:00 -5:00 make Martha Stewart bath fizzies, lip balm with DD for Christmas gifts
5:00 - whenever: decorate tree and house, fall into an exhauste heap on the floor, open a bottle of wine, probably fall asleep way too early....

OK, I think I may need to move some of this to Sunday. Either way, I'm determined to get it done.

Cecilia,

That would take me a WEEK! It does sound like fun, though. Enjoy your day!

I'm looking forward to baking cookies with the kids and then going out to see the Christmas lights.

Thanks, I am hoping to keep it all fun and enjoyable. I feel some pressure to get it done though because I just haven't been able to get anything done this week. It's one of those weeks where I feel like I'm just spinning my wheels.
