Ever Gotten a Christmas Card from someone you don't remember?

I got one today and I am sitting here wracking my brain trying to figure out who Diane and Jim are!!!!!!!!!

They even enclosed a printed out letter of their life this past year.. Going to Ohio and London even!!

I feel like a schmuck because I can't place these people. They live in another town, that I have never been to, but they have my full name and address and she even wrote my first name on the letter after the printed "Hi, "

I think I better get one in the mail to them ASAP. I don't want to appear rude as well as forgetful

I been there done that. but the best one that I have gotten was today. I received a Christmas Card from a client I had a few yrs ago. he died. But his nutty wife sent me a card from him. At least I think his wife sent it since the return address is where he lived when he was alive. But she signed his name. Weird!

While going thru a stack of christmas cards a check for 600 dollars fell out! We looked at the name on the check and didn't know the sender double checked the envelope for the address and it was addressed to a neighbor. We gave the card and the check to the neighbor and they said it was a loan from a relative of theirs! We were so embarrased that we had opened it.

Littlejo- How strange!

I received a picture card yesterday that has a child sitting on santas lap. It was not signed and has no return address, but was clearly addressed to our house! I'm going to have to see if my sister or my parents received on.

Why wouldn't someone at least sign a card?!

I got one last year from someone who only signed their initials. There wasn't a return label but I could guess who it was from by the postmark city.

Yes...every year. We have a couple who send us a Christmas card. They have my DH's and my name and say how much they miss us (they are out of state) and they have even included a photo. We have NO idea who these people are LOL I don't send a return card but so far, their card is the only card we have received this year
