Any one else think these kids got what they deserved?

'Toilet-papering' teens sprayed with fox pee - Criminal weirdness- msnbc.com

Another example of no accountability.

People just let their kids bully, yes bully, a homeowner and then cry to the cops when they get sprayed with pee. They are lucky they didn't get sprayed with bullets.

I agree with you. It could have been far worse than fox urine. Did these teens (or parents of them I should say) actually take steps to get him in trouble with the law? If so, that's just so wrong. Make them accountable!

Reminds me of my neighbor, whining when the cops get called on her kid when he's out carousing after curfew. I wonder whether the assault charge is for the spraying, though, or if he beat a kid up or something.

In either event, though, the kids should be charged with trespassing, at least.

Recently in our area, a teen was found drunk, with alcohol in his car on school property -- I think it was at a football game. The school suspended him which was its policy. Seems fair, right? Well, the parent of the young man decided to sue the school district for suspending their son. Fortunately, they eventually came to their senses and dropped the suit but the fact that their thinking was so wrong at the start of this is really disheartening. When did our thinking get so messed up that we stopped teaching personal responsibility to our children?

Editing to correct the details. He was found drunk at a football game and was in possession of marijuana. The school then decided he couldn't be on the wrestling team and the family starrted the suit which they have since dropped.

It's a sad world, parents think that when thier children are doing wrong it is ok.. when they get caught or punished then they fight it. These kids are going to grow up thinking they can do whatever they want to anyone they want.

And when their children go to jail, the parents will blame 'Society' for their own parenting mistakes. I feel sorry for the homeowner - they keep harrassing him and damaging his home and yet, he's the one in trouble. That's wrong.

How did someone gather fox pee? And why was his house repeatedly toilet papered? Our house has never once been TP-ed.

I think there are places where you can buy various kinds of animal urine to repel or attract deer, as appropriate.

Where I live rolling houses is a tradition. It was strange to me at first but it is more of kids doing it to their friends to get one over on them.

I think if it is as the story says and the kids had repeatedly rolled the house of this man and he sprayed them then they deserved it. Honestly, if it were my kids and they came home smelling like that, I would laugh at them. They deserved it. There would be no police involvement from me.

I get so tired of hearing "oh boys will be boys everyone is overreacting" I hear parents say it on Judge Judy and other court shows when their irresponsible brats do something stupid and destructive.

I can't believe that the police would even waste their time investigating this. If anything, charges should be brought against the boys for repeatedly vandalizing the man's property.

Unhappy

They most certain got what they deserved, sadly some teenagers have way too much time on their hands and do not know when to stop. This is truly sad for this man to have this happen to him over and over again.Like I mentioned before they do something here in my neighborhood and I have heard from others as well.It is called fencing where they the kids jump out of a car and go up to a persons property and kick in their fence. Thats pretty bad and then the homeowners are left with damaged property. Hopefully these bad kids will learn a lesson and leave this poor man alone....Also for any parent to condone this type of behavior does not say much for them either, cause if they close their eyes to this , god only knows how much more serious damage these teenagers could inflict on a innocent homeowner...Peace. You can buy all sorts of powdered predator urine at good gardening centers & nurseries. Fox urine keeps away rabbits.

LOL same here - when I was younger and yes I tp'd houses I knew I was always fair game for the return favor. Although we did not do damage other than leaving a mess of white paper around.
