The hair is the same color as Caylee's and investigators have made a tentative identification. They need the DNA test to come back for a positive but it seems like a match since the physical characteristics are the same. I hope the little girl gets a proper burial. That family seems to be more concerned with Casey than with her missing child so who knows what they'll do? I don't want to think what Caylee's life was like with a mother and grandmother like that.

Death is not bad enough for the mom if she did this. It's not just the fact that she potentially murdered her daughter, but the circus she's created of the situation after the fact is disgusting. The lies that have spewed from that woman's mouth are astonishing and her attitude is nauseating. The parents/grandparents have probably enabled her her entire life and are partially responsible. I know you want to believe your kids and definately not want to believe they are capable of murder, but they have gone the complete distance of blinding themselves to who their daughter really is.

Did they say there was duct tape on the mouth?? I've been in bed sick today, and wasn't sure if I was having a nightmare or that is actually what I heard.

I hope it was the mother that murdered her, and not some random kidnapping/murder.

Why can't people just surrender their children rather than kill them??? It makes no sense to me. Sad, no matter how you look at it.

The whole story makes me sick to my stomach every time i see little caylee it reminds me of my 3 yr old. My 3 yr old looks almost like her except the eye color. I just can't wrap my brain around how someone her own mother can kill a innocent child. I can't imagine what this little girl endured.

I watched the special on tv about this last night, but I fell asleep before it was over. The mom's behavior was disgusting! If she really was kidnapped there is no way in hell you wouldn't call the police right away!!! It just seemed like the mom wasn't ready to have a child. She was out partying while Caylee was supposedly missing. It takes a special kind of sick to do that to a child.

Someone on t v said that if these are this childs remains that the mother had the "right' to view the remains and the lawyers on the show said "hell no" . The mother is incarserated and Scott Peterson was not given the "right" to see the remains of his wife and son.

I think the mother did it and her parents know it. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were just in denial but not anymore. The grandmother has lied repeatedly and she's almost as weird as her daughter. I've read and seen her interviews and it's obvious that she's making excuses. Like her daughter, she changes her story every times she opens her mouth. I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

And the grandparents are now trying for immunity? And saying that "yep, we've been dishonest, but now we'll tell the truth from now on?" Okay, not exactly those words, but that's the gist of it.

DNA results are expected next week. I wonder if Nancy Grace will be able to keep her head on her shoulders until then......

I also knew that the grandparents (George and Cindy) knew way more than they were telling when all this began. The immunity plea pretty much backs this theory up completely I think. I hope they go down with their daughter actually. Their lives are pretty much 'over' either way--who in their right mind would hire Cindy as a registered nurse after all this?! Weird thing too that the meter reader's last name that found the remains is Gonzalez. Now, that is either some weird coincidence or.... I think Casey is as guilty as sin, but man wouldn't it be a serious twist if she was actually telling the truth about the nanny Gonzalez (I know she isn't and she is a pathological liar but how weird that this man's last name is the same as the accused?! I know in FL there are a lot of Hispanics with the last name Gonzalez so I'm sure this is only a coincidence.) Oh, even weirder...his first name is German (German Gonzalez) I believe. There is a post months back from a psychic on websleuths that says they will find Caylee's remains where the German Shephard pees, (I'm not quoting the entire post word for word--it's being discussed there now). Remember the meter reader first told police he was out there to relieve himself. Now, that's pretty strange. This case just gets more strange by the day...

This whole case just doesn't make any sense at all.None of it.I don't know who to believe or who to suspect.

Testing confirms remains are Caylee Anthony

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Orlando authorities say DNA tests confirm the skeletal remains recently found in the woods belong to missing toddler Caylee Anthony.

A county medical examiner said at a news conference Friday that the remains match Caylee's DNA profile, and that the death is considered a homicide.

A utility worker stumbled upon the remains last week, less than a half-mile from where the girl lived. Caylee had been missing since June.

Caylee's mother, 22-year-old Casey Anthony, was indicted in October on first-degree murder and other charges, even without a body. She has insisted that she left the girl with a baby sitter in June, but she didn't report her missing until July.

A search team said they did not check the wooded area sooner because it was submerged in water."

Sadly, we all knew it was her. Now that there's a body, justice can be done.

It's sad, but, I don't think anyone is surprised.

I hope they can do a proper investigation and trial with the evidence they find/have. I haven't been following this case too closely. I just can't stand this sort of thing.

We recently had a baby die locally....the boyfriend beat the kid to death. WTH is up with people???

We pretty much knew she was gone. I know a lot of us were wondering if the body would ever be found. While it is so sad, and sickening to know that the remains are those of Caylee's, it does bring a bit of closure, and thankfully a formal indictment of Casey. Merry Christmas Casey, and may you rot in hell...

It truly was not a surprise that the remains were hers. I think this finally brings some closure to all involved especially the group who spent countless hours searching for her. I dont know why but I think the Grandparents know more than they are letting on its this nagging feeling I have about their behavior. The whole thing disgusts me, if Casey did not want Caylee she had an out put her in foster care for adoption there are thousands of families waiting for small children or let her parents raise her. I dont think the truth will ever come out only Casey and God know it and may she rot in hell.

One thing bugs me immensely is that the utility worker reported seeing the bags months ago and the investigating officer "did a search" but found nothing, makes you wonder if someone dropped the ball and if they could have found her months ago and found the actual cause of death and more forensic evidence before all the flooding destroyed it.

Rest in peace little angel you were very much loved by thousands upon thousands of strangers.

I heard last night on Nancy Grace that they did not properly search that area, partly because where they found the body was under water back in August. Also, there was some kind of problem with snakes in the area. They had the man who heads up the ecosearch (?), and he said that he saw the area where they found the remains and that you could see in the ground where the body had been and that it was obvious that he believes the body had been there since June. I also heard that right after finding out it was indeed her daughters body, Casey turned her priest away and opted to see her lawyer....

THAT'S what I'm interested in, what is Casey's reaction to this news? I keep thinking of the pictures they show of her out clubbing, hanging with friends, smiling, etc. And now, we know, all the while her daughter was laying somewhere in a trashbag. God have mercy.

This whole case makes me sick to my stomach. If her daughter put a damper on her lifestyle she should have been honest with the grandparents and maybe it wouldn't have ended so tragically! She is truly a sick women and needs major psychological help bigtime. I can't even bear to listen to the defense team because they are helping a murderer! AGH sickening.

There has been talk that they are still going to try to say it was the nanny, or even try to pin it on the meter man who eventually found the body. I cannot believe that anyone will ever believe a word that comes out of the witches mouth...
If they find any traces of choloroform in the toxicology tests being run....I think Casey will not have a leg to stand on...
