Forget Black Friday for computer deals! My friend and I saw the Walmart ad for a Toshiba laptop for $398.00. And we love Toshibas too. We called the local store to ask what time they would start selling them. They told us 12:01AM. We called the other Walmart and they didn't know when they would sell theirs-could be 5:00AM or 8:00AM, no one knew. So we took a chance and went over to the first Walmart about 11:15. Not one person in line for them! THere were 4 people in line for some Wii's. The store only had 4 Wii's and 6 laptops. We asked the head clerk on duty about the laptops and he said there were six and we said we each wanted one so he said "ok' you are number 1 and 2! Piece of cake! When midnight rolled around they wheeled the items up to the checkout and handed them out. It was wonderfully handled!!! Unlike my prior Black Friday experience several years ago at the other Walmart-the reason I swore off ever trying to get electronics on Black Friday. Just wanted to let people know that you can get equally good deals as Black Friday if you just keep your eyes open. Walmart has been slighly redeemed! lol

I agree. There have really been good deals this year.

On a fluke, I was able to get the Kodak digital picture frame that was a "store only" special at Target....well, I got it on Target.com Even got free shipping.

The deals abound.

Funny you should mention it... DH and I were at Walmart on his lunch break about an hour and half ago and they had the 32 inch Sharp LCD Flat Screen TV for $398.00 (they claim regular price was like $538.00 or so) (Remember Walmart had the 32 inch Emerson on Black Friday for $388.00) Anyway, for 10.00 more and no hassle someone can walk away with a 32 incher for under 400.00.

We don't need a Tv but smiled at the guys standing there in front of it talking about it. Happy Holidays indeed!

Forgot to mention we also bought a Black Friday Blitz item that was still in stock just three days ago... Wow that they still had Blitz items.
