Spinoff targetgirl's PB & sausage sandwich

Targetgirl said she eats PB and sausage sandwiches.

What do you eat that would be considered "weird" (no offense targetgirl!)

For me, being a vegetarian, people would probably think a lot of my food is weird, but the thing I eat that is my own creation is PB and Frito sandwich. On white bread, natch. Oh so good!!

My favorite thing that is vegetarian that most would probably think is weird is Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce. Probably my favorite appetizer.

From my backpacking days, I still love a sandwich made with PB, banana slices (or banana chips), and raisins.... usually on whole wheat. It tastes even better with a little bit of honey drizzled on it.

Your tofu with peanut sauce sounds delish!

Well, if you ask Kellyboysmom, apparently EVERYTHING I eat is weird....lol...
But I have three kinda' gross things that I have been eating since I was 10, that I don't wish to share w/ my family-toast slathered w/ peanut butter, and real butter. Also, I enjoy an everything bagel w/ butter and cream cheese. And then for the best meal ever, ramen noodles w/ butter and soy sauce. Apparently, my theme is butter. I just remember a scene from Will and Grace, when she was going on a date. Will reminded Grace that butter was not an appetizer. Can you all hear my arteries clogging?

I don't soak my toast with butter, but its there and I also like Raman noodles with butter added . I have never thought to put soy sauce on it but now I will give that a try . I think me and you could do lunch together w/o any of the Ekkkk's from each other ..

Not me but my 8 yo son, He puts ketchups on every single thing he eats if I dont hide the bottle .LOL. he will also make just ketchup sandwiches too( ekk )..

I guess I'll join the club with Linny and Sunset. We like the same things!

One of the weirdest things I hate when I was a kid was PB, lettuce and mayo sandwiches. Haven't relived that experience since then though....

Of course it would have to be the infamous peanut butter and Miracle Whip sandwich first introduced by my childhood buddies Aaron & Larry in East Grand Rapids, MI circa 1966 or so. Yummy...still have one occasionally.

I love Ramen with Chinese Chili Paste... but no peanut butter (which seems to be a theme ingredient in wierd foods!).

Actually, anything with Chinese Chili Paste is yummy.

Someone had to go and bring up food; my weakness!

Where should I begin
Me and my cousin love holiday leftover so we can eat ham and potato salad sandwiches, they are very yummy!

Our weird pb thing is we like to dip pb sandwiches into chili, that is also very yummy!

Instead of using dip for our BBQ chips we dip them into cottage cheese.

Pork and beans served over cottage cheese is really good!

Oh no, it's actually quite delicious!!! I ate those for breakfast almost every Sunday growing up. Yum!!!! Either that or bacon and honey on toast.

Move over girls and let my fat body in here. I want to know what's wierd about those combos? Butter just makes the peanut butter creamier and spread easier. But the PB must be crunchy no wimpy smooth stuff in my house.

I like PB & chips - plain but Fritos are yummy too.

I buy sliced hard salami at the deli and buy cream cheese. My kids like to make salami roll ups. They just put some cream cheese on a piece of salami and roll it up and eat.
Kind of the same thing.

Chocolate ice cream (semi melted) with crushed potatoes chips (mix them together). Can't eat that unless dh isn't home, makes him gag.

Everything bagels with butter and cream cheese are the best! The weirdest thing I eat is peanut butter and bologna sammies. My kids think I'm weird for putting ketchup on scrambled eggs. Doesn't everybody? My youngest loves ranch dressing on her hot dogs.....blech. Grosses me out just making one for her.

My family cringes when they see a box of macaroni and cheese come into the house! I cannot eat it plain. I add yellow mustard and minced dill pickle to it. It's REALLY good!

I love dipping McD's french fries into "their" maynoise.

I like A1 on my scrambled eggs.

I like french fry sandwiches, not sure if that's weird ( Isn't that the original Po'Boy?)
White bread, lightly buttered, add the fries and ketchup OR use gravy instead of ketchup!
Yummy! , DS was so grossed out, until he tried it.....now DH looks at us both weird....lol

A friend of mine grew up eating peanut butter on bread (or on cinnamon rolls) WITH their spaghetti ! YUCK! ever heard of garlic bread? ...lol

I just thought of another one. (Beside my jam and bacon sandwich)

cooked rice with butter, sugar, and bacon mixed up together. (Cooked bacon and crumbled up in the rice).

Oh I thought of another one

Before I was a vegetarian I would not eat macaroni and cheese unless I added tuna fish to it. Grosses my DH out. Also I have been known to chop up dill pickles and add them to my ice cream (DH gags on the smell so I can only do it on a few occasions).

And I also love Wendy's fries dipped in the chocolate frosty, Yummy

OK, I'm going to add something else.

Peanut butter and Dorito sandwiches, best if made with cool ranch doritos.

Yes, my family has a strong love affair with peanut butter, my dad even puts it on hot dogs.

I come from a town that is famous for its' restaurants serving french fries enchilada style. The fries have enchi sauce and melted cheese on them.

Probably not so odd with living in the Southwest?

Oh yeh! I'm down with most of the PB & butter and the salty pork with practically anything sweet combos. Sweet and salty definitely go together. You all are making me hungry!

I often eat a toasted PB & J w/butter (on whole wheat) sandwich for breakfast, or whenever I'm in the mood. AT LEAST 3 times a week here lately. When I was younger, I used to eat PB & butter toast with maple/pancake syrup. And I just can't eat chilli without PB crackers or a PB sandwich. That's the way they always served it to us in school and I guess I just became accustomed to it.

I've never eaten a bacon and strawberry jam sandwich before, but it does sound tasty. I have tried an onion (w/mayo) sandwich before, but it was nothing I couldn't live without. I think tomato & cheese (w/mayo) are much tastier.

I've eaten butter smeared on saltine crackers for many years. But, lately I've been adding some cheddar cheese and then microwaving them for about 30 seconds (to melt the cheese). Hey, you get desperate when there are no snacks in the house. I also like coleslaw on hotdogs, and I often put garlic powder in my grits (w/salt, pepper and butter, of course). Sometimes I even put it in my scrambled eggs, as well. I love garlic! Milk gravy (made with pork grease) over fresh sliced tomatoes.... delicious! I don't know if it's normal or not, but I also like Frank's Hot Sauce on fried catfish. My SIL turned me on to that.

Gee, I know there's more I'm forgetting. LOL

I am obviously not the weirdest person in the room anymore . The only things that I can think of right now that I eat that might be considered weird are I like to dip french fries in mayonnaise or ranch dressing (actually I like ranch dressing on a lot of things... burgers, chicken, etc.) and I like mustard on scrambled eggs.

I've had Pork Rinds with Ketchup and Hot Sauce. You get a bag of pork rinds.. squeeze a good amount of ketchup in the bag and pour a good amount of hot sauce in as well, and shake, shake, shake!

It's gooooood!

I like pretzels dipped in ranch dressing or Nutella.
I like those little butter mints w/ salted, mixed nuts.

Some people sprinkle sugar on their strawberries--I like mine w/ salt.
I can only eat a PB&J sandwich if I have Nacho Cheese Doritos (oh and it's got to be chunky peanut butter and preferably strawberry or raspberry jam...)
