We love all different types of Christmas music. Like you, if we listen to the same thing over and over, it drives us crazy!! We have discovered a new CD (we saw them on public TV) -- called Celtic Women. They are great. We love to watch their DVD and listen to the music. They have a Christmas CD out now and it's really hard to find. Right now Barnes & Noble is about the only store that has it in stock in our area.

We love Celtic Women, also. Really amazing sounding! I subject the family to nonstop Christmas music from the day after Halloween through Three Kings' Day. I can't get enough! I love all of it - the traditional (Nat King Cole, Frank S., Judy Garland, etc) to the most up-to-date. I just bought Elliot Yamin's Christmas CD, and it's really nice! My favorite Christmas CD must be Josh Groban's, though. But I love it all!

I listen to Christmas music all of the time by my DD's rule is not before 11/15 while she is in the car. I have a playlist on my IPod of X-mas songs, I think around 100 or so. I love the hippopotamus song (Gayla Peevy) but all of them are great in my opinion. I heard a new one this year on the radio about Dominic the Donkey? Our radio station starts playing X-mas music the weekend before Thanksgiving and doesn't stop until after X-Mas.

We have been listening to my son's Christmas program music for a few days now (The Little Snowflake, The Penguin Polka, and others). He's 7 and everytime the songs come on, he dances to them like at his program. He also gets a kick of out "Grandma got ran over by a reindeer" and the hippo song by Shirley Temple.

I love TSO-really wish we could have gone this year, but it just didn't work out. The closest show was two hours away, and it did not fit into any schedule. If anyone has not gone to this concert-you really need to try. It is so moving and I would almost say exhilarating. We have a radio station that starts the Christmas music on Thanksgiving. I pretty much keep the radio on that channel. Just wish that Nickelback or Godsmack would come out w/ a catchy Christmas jingle....

. My kids love them also. We had promise our 12 yo if they came close this year we would take her. however, when they did gas was 5.03 a gallon . She was so disappointed as were we. Maybe next year we can go and take her too.We have 2 stations here that starts the Holiday season the day after Thanksgiving till Jan 2nd. |

I got a kick out of the girls and their long silky hair, and the way they made headshaking/headbanging into an integral part of their dance...we figured out that they probably HAVE to be long haired blonds to be allowed in... Yeah - a live Trans-Siberian Orchestra show is an experience to behold....

I've been listening to the Cherish the Ladies CD "On Christmas Night" and Sarah McLachlan's "Wintersong" a lot this season with a little Barenaked Ladies Christmas music thrown in for good measure. Cherish the Ladies is a traditional Irish music group so those of you who like Celtic Women will most likely enjoy CTL.

I grew up in the 60s and 70s so although I like the newer ("newer" you know the ones who have ONLY been around for 20 yrs or so LOL I am an OLD OLD woman) ones I prefer the classics: Bing, Nat, Gene, Willie, Elvis, Perry, and when Judy Garland starts singing "Have yourself a merry little Christmas..." I start blubbering like a bawling baby! Just thinking about it I see her with that blue thing on and I get misty....

Brenda Lee's Rocking Around the Christmas Tree is my favorite! Close second goes to Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi
