| RockBand Moms & players
The sound of the drums is gonna make me FREAKING BONKERS!!  The kids tell me that they make drum pad silencers...but there are so many out there, I don't know which ones to buy. Does anyone have these and what brand? Do they work?? Please, help me keep my sanity!

We have Wii Rock Band and have not thought about drum silencers. In fact, didn't even knew they existed! I will be following this thread to get some great ideas....sure would be nice to silence the sound of the hitting!

exactly why I won't buy Rockband  I send them to my brothers house to play LOL It would be nice to know though (in case he asks me about it)

Oh Great, My 10 yr old DS is getting Rock band for Christmas, oh what joy it is to hear that all day LOL I never thought about that till now. Guess I'll have my ipod on all day. hehe

Hi......they are wrapped up so I don't have much info to share BUT I bought my stepson the silencing drumsticks and drum covers for Christmas. They are for the PS2 and I got them from Amazon. I am crossing my fingers that they work

Oh, please you big weenies! My DS has 6 electric guitars with several amps, a full drum set with extra cymbals, a piano and a trombone. Real instruments. You guys don't know loud. He's down in the basement playing away right now on his drums and singing away. I make him stop when I go down to do laundry. It really hurts my ears. He loves music and plays all the time. It's really bad when he gets his friends over and they are all playing instruments. I do have tinnitus too. I wonder why???? Smiles,
