I have oil heat and I looked into these heaters a couple weeks ago. After reading the reviews here: INFOMERCIAL RATINGS.COM - EDENPURE HEATER REVIEWS RATINGS, COMPLAINTS
decided no way!

My nephew's friend bought one to heat an enclosed porch area. He hated it. My understanding is that it's to be used as a supplemental heat source not the soul heat for an area.

We got the one of the regular size and one of the small ones as a gift two years ago. It did save some money on utilities, even though it ran up our electric bill probably $30 extra it saved more than that in propane costs. Our large unit went out after two years as did 4 out of 5 other ones that my other relatives got as gifts. I probably won't buy another one to replace it.
