I've never been to:
- Olive Garden
- Applebee's
- Denny's
- Bugaboo Creek
- Chick-Fil-A
- Hard Rock Cafe
- Hooters (I think there should be a restaurant named Peckers too)
- Qdoba
- Chipotle
- Chuck E. Cheese's
- Church's
- Ruby Tuesday
- Taco Bell
- Cinnabon
- Cracker Barrel
- Quiznos

I think Panera is just OK. I liked it a lot at first, but you can't specify what you want on a sandwich. They have a 7 -10 different ones and the only way they'll vary them is if you want to leave something off. Their salads are good. I don't like their pizza at all. The sauce is sweet. Ew.

I've been to Panera, but not Atlanta Bread Co.

I've also never been to that BJ's Mongolian Grill or whatever it's called. I've never been to Sweet Tomatoes or Cinnabon.

I've used to love Olive Garden until Macaroni Grill opened. I don't like Olive Garden anymore.

There's several I've only been to once: Hooters, Hard Rock, Cracker Barrel, Ruby Tuesday.

We don't go out that often and our kids always want to go to the same places.

Cici's Pizza
Quizno's (I detest the commercials so I can't even walk in)

These are about the only ones I can think of that are around us.

I have tried many, but have not returned to most. Chain restaurants are not my thing.

Olive Garden-I'd rather get Italian food from people who are actually Italian
Fazoli's-none in this area
Jack in the Box-never even seen one of these
Sonic-none in this area
Hooters-I don't need to pay to see ta-ta's. I have my own.
Chuck E Cheese-going here will probably be one of my punishments in hell, lol!

Some of these must be regional, because I have never even heard of:
- Bugaboo Creek
- Chick-Fil-A
- Qdoba
- Chipotle
- Church's

One that I've heard really good things about and have never been to is Cheesecake Factory (or something like that).

Do other places have Texas Roadhouse (they have peanuts all over the place). I love their food.

Never been to Texas Roadhouse, I don't think they have them around here. I don't like Cheesecake Factory, but then I hate cheesecake, so no big surprise there!

Here's a whole list of them...
List of restaurant chains in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've never been to Panera, Red Robin, Sonic, Buca di Beppo, and O'Charleys.

I like the Cheesecake at Cheesecake Factory, but I don't like the food. It seems too processed to me. Yuck.

I so agree with you! I used to go there ALL the time, then they started doing away with my fav sandwich, sauces..then even the bread I loved.

I still go there occassionally, but not anything like I used to.

I have never been to:

Qdoba
Chipotle
Chick Fil A
Cheesecake Factory
Atlanta Bread Co

That's all I can think of for now. We like to try different restaurants when we travel or go out, so we have been to quite a few.

I guess I am a food chain jukie because I have been to most that were mentioned except:

Odoba
Bugaboo Creek
Fazoli
Atlantic Bread

are not in my area. I think I was to Big Pecker's in Ocean City, MD once.

I love Hard Rock in DC. Whenever we go to the mall area, we eat there.

What kind of food do they serve? Is it fast food, or more like Applebee's? We don't have them in this area.

It is fast food....but decent fast food. Great chicken sandwiches, salads, chicken strips and nuggets. Real lemonade. Awesome shakes. Always very clean inside and great employees! Closed on Sundays. They are based in Atlanta. They started in malls and now have free standing restaurants in some states. The drive through line is always wrapped around the building at lunch time, but moves quickly. Sometimes it is hard to find a parking spot at lunch. At the mall food courts- it is usually the one with the longest line.

There are a lot that I have never been to but the one that I really, really, want to try is................... White Castle. All my life (50 years) I have heard from my parents how great they were when they lived in Chicago. How they were delicious, you had to eat a bunch because they were small, and you could never sneak them in to the movies because of their smell. I have tried the frozen ones but I know they are not the same as the real thing. Why oh why are there no White Castles in CA? You would think with all the people that grew up eating them back east they would make a lot of money if they opened up some out here.

You're really not missing much. I know some people love White Castle but really, they're not that good, IMHO. They're called "sliders" because they slide right through you! My dad worked outdoors and his helper would buy a bag of a dozen sliders in the morning on the way to the job site, eat six for breakfast and then have the other six cold for lunch. Blech! I do eat one once in a while but really, I could never eat another one and be perfectly happy.

That's so funny. I heard almost the exact same things from my parents about White Castle. I finally got to try one when I was in college. A bunch of us went from Philly to Atlantic City -- on the way back to school, we stopped at White Castle. I was so psyched when went in, but it didn't live up to expectations.

My parents were depression-era folks. I think any visit to a restaurant when they were young was a huge thrill! (I guess we're reliving that - Maybe it would taste good now, lol!)

I have not been to many of the places mentioned.

For those who have not gone to Olive Garden don't bother if you like REAL AUTHENTIC Italian food even the breadsticks are phony stick shaped bread. Italians eat grisini the hard bread sticks.

Going to Olive Garden to eat authentic Italian food is like going to Taco Bell to eat authentic Mexican food.

Ask any Italian who has eaten authentic Italian food. I ate there and could not finish the soggy noodles and the antipasto and sides were a joke.

Wow. I must be really sheltered. I've never been to a lot of these places! Chic-fil-a, In and Out, Hooters, Fudruckers, Red Lobster, Cracker Barrel, Pannera, Atlanta Bread Comp, Big Boy, Black Angus, Green Burrito, Boston Market, Popeye’s, Border Café, ok, so seriously, the list could go on and on...

On the subject of Hooters... I've told my DH that I want to open a restaurant called Bananas, I would serve Banana splits, banana bread, chocolate covered bananas, and you get the point. I love the idea. There would be all sorts of hot men in Speedos (probably need some kind of shirt because of health code) as servers. I would market my restaurant as a healthy family restaurant. Does anyone else remember when Hooters tried to sell themselves as a "family restaurant" like Applebee’s? I remember the first time I heard that I laughed so hard Pepsi came out of my nose, it burned.

Don't avoid Hooter's because of the "uniforms".
They really have good food and I have seen families and people of all ages there.

MMMMMMMM I love White Castle.
And Taco Bell.

Qdoba I wasn't impressed with at all.
Last time I ate at Cracker Barrel I got food poisoning.

Never been to
Cicis
Chipotle
Hooters
PF Changs

Panera is called St Louis Bread Co here and they are yummy! I go more for the soup than the sandwiches. But I always try a new sandwich every time since they do change them pretty often.

Texas Roadhouse is yum!
