Other than the Cafe I read Freebies, Both LWIF boards, the cooking, craft, garden, and travel boards avidly. The rest I glance at if I have something to say or am looking for something.
The Cafe is my favorite though! I guess I kind of keep it hidden LOL but I have lots of opinions and love to share and read others' views on things. It is entertaining, informative, and fun!

I don't really ever look at the Coupon & Rebate Swap, Sweepstakes, or Reward Programs (I used to read RP but got out of it). Not much of a crafter either... I do try to share bargains and freebies that I find with others on the LWIF and Freebies boards. That's what brought me here to begin with. You don't see as much of the "Tips of the Trade" anymore unfortunately.

I read several of the other boards - both LWIF (Internet & B/M), LTS, AT and my favorite after the Cafe is Lets Get Cookin' and Save! For some strange reason I just love to read what others are fixing for dinner every night! I've gotten such great ideas, recipes, etc. but I've never posted there.

I miss the tips of the trade. I learned so much from there. I was disappointed when I went back for a visit.

Maybe we need to all start it up again!

Yes, I get around! LOL!

1.Something contributed by me is a sticky at the top of two other boards here.
One on Smart Traveler from a long time ago but it keeps getting posts/views. (almost up to 7,000 now.)

2. And then two sticky items kept at the top of the cooking board. (I was the one that started the "infamous" Incredibly Simple post that was viewed almost 28,000 times before the mods locked it and put up a sticky instead.)

3. And also, Catt's Cookbook ~ I was the member that collected, saved and presented to Catt as a surprise, her recipes and stories she had shared here for nearly five years in a cookbook styled format. . Before it was made a more permanent sticky, more than 300 copies were file shared to eager cooks. I still get occasional requests.

I was active on the elections board in '04 and '08 and plan to stick around to '12 too.

Wink

I do alot on the couponswap board and sometimes the tips of the trade and of course the cafe. I am a huge coupon user and this was the reason I signed up and became a member over 9 years ago. Peace. Catherine

I read several of the others, and I agree, the TOT board is certainly not what it used to be. I go to other sites to find out about CVS and Wags deals.

I used to constantly frequent the LWIF (online) board, Rewards, Cooking and Crafts sections.

Upon my return, it's now LWIF (online), the Cafe, Cooking, Crafts and Freebies sections. I don't do the rewards thing anymore. It's just not as worth it as it used to be.

I have to laugh! My friends and I and even my Mom and sisters always ask each other what's for dinner. My husband at his last job used to think it was weird because all the women would tell each other and ask the men what's for dinner (they worked graveyard so "lunch" was "dinner").

I explained to him it's perfectly normal us women like to know what everyone is eating.

Zoobie I'm with you!

LOL - my friends and I do the exact same thing! I guess I should have known it was a "girl thing"!

OK, cjs216, I promise to start posting what I'm cooking for dinner on LGC!
