How do you see yourself?

Many form opinions of others based on their writings and what their personality style is like.

But usually we see ourselves way differently than others perceive us.

So, question posed here today is:
How do you see yourself with regards to interacting with others when someone else doesn't agree with your point of view?

(sorry, the second option should have been "evoke" instead of invoke.

For me, I see myself as sometimes becoming sarcastic, but I don't feel that I tend to poke at another person just to evoke a reaction (but I am wondering if that is what sarcasm really does to another person, is evoke a rise out of them). I just like to share my views, and sometimes I am very passionate about said views!

With all the opinions offered on this site I sometimes change my views as the posts progress I see situations that I do change my opinion.
I love to root for the underdog and hiss at the evil doers. I love the comraderie and fellowship of all who are here and the love and support that is shown on this board even when things get heated we stilll come back to see how everyone is. I feel like this is a group of caring people that love to share their opinions and it does my little heart good to sit here day after day and know that I am not alone in this big world that can sometimes be a cruel place and find that yes someone cares and will support you when you are down.
Have I rambled on enough? lol
sorry

I'm usually laid back unless you hit those points that are sensitive with me, and then WATCH THE F- out.

Move over sister, I want to be able to put my feet up on the coffee table too. And don't hog the popcorn.

Usually I feel sorry for someone who thinks they know it all. How sad to live your life surrounded by idiots I read or listen to opinions and move on.

for me I voted i like having a good debate and try to remain nice. I have to also add that I am very peaceful person that is my nature, I do not like violence at all, however I am also a nervous person who does carry alot of worry on my shoulders however it is me and its the way I was born.. But I will add as I have gotten older I have been losing patience when someone is rude to me because I am not a rude or mean person. Great post again dear girlfriend Kathy peace always... Catherine

I LOVE a good debate, but too many personal attacks go on and that really irks me.

I don't care if you agree or disagree, but have the class not to name call and belittle someone for thinking differently.

I'd rep you for this one! I don't mind if people agree/disagree with anyone - that's their right. But when things get vicious, that irritates me.

I'm pretty laid back so when the poop hits the fan I just watch it all go down. Free entertainment, if you will. There are certain posters that rub me the wrong way but I am usually just lurking around so I never reply to them. If something they type REALLY bothers me, I will type out a reply to them, no holding back LOL, then delete it. That feels so much better than holding it all in. Now if you see a post from me that looks like that, I probably accidently hit post instead of deleted it!

The thing that irritates me the most is when people don't use punctuation or grammar correctly. I'm not an english teacher and am not perfect myself but some of the ways people type things are just ASININE!

Bad grammer/punctuation drive me nuts, too. But at least we don't play the "grammer police" game here.

On One Board I'm On The Poster Types Like This. Another poster is just one constant run-on sentence in a 25 line paragraph. I can't read posts like those - too hard on both the eyes and the brain.

BTW - I think "asinine" is spelled wrong 90% of the time. Good one!
