Every year I say I'm going to start early, but it usually doesn't happen. This year with a move looming in a couple of months I don't need any extra things around to have packed and moved. Maybe this summer I will start.

That's impressive, but I have no idea what my kids want for next year, and I don't think they know either. I think with very small kids, you can buy way in advance, especially when you can get nice toys/games for 75% off. With older kids, it just doesn't work.

Finished Christmas shopping? Last Christmas is barely over. It's Jan 18! I don't start next year's shopping until late summer or fall.

I have 11 adult gifts done. My kids will be the only ones I will have to buy for at Christmas since they are 14 and 16 minds change.

We don't draw names until June. My kids are teens so they will decide what they want next December. So, no... haven't started.

At first, I thought someone booted up an old post! I had to read it twice. The short answer is "no way, no how". I can't even begin to think about it but it would be nice to be that organized.

I picked up some great things for the foster girls, my neice and nephew, and the in-laws. Everyone else (mom, stepdad, kids, DH) I have to wait until the fall to find out what they want and need at the time. Also got stockings for my son & his roommates with their initials on them (Target) to fill and send with snacks and silly toys for finals studying next December. So, a good start...

I bought a ton of stuff from Dillard's markdowns for next year. Lots of Polo items...still have the fragrences from an earlier post. I also got some sweet deals on winter wear with this new Macy's sale.

In the after Christmas sales I purchased quite a few regular bath gift sets, Hannah Montana and High School Musical perfume/bath gift sets, t-shirts, lip gloss sets, pajama pants, sock sets, undie sets all at 75% off. So I have alot of gifts set aside for next Christmas already and to use for birthday gifts throughout the year. I have already used some: I took a gift to someone in the hospital, a birthday gift to a teenager (one of DD's 13 year old friends) got a bath gift set, t-shirt and socks, one of my DD's will get a t-shirt and socks for Valentines Day, my grandaughter will get a Hannah Montana gift set for Valentines Day, various Hannah Montanna and HSM items for Easter and her birthday in June. Two younger DD's 23 & 13 will get some of the t-shirts and bath sets for birthdays and Christmas next year. Oldest DD will get bath sets and socks for birthday and Christmas. I also got a bunch of free Revlon makeup and tools last week at KMart's double coupon sale (I had $2 coupons that doubled to $4 off and the makeup was 40% off on sale that week= free makeup) so all the girls will also get baskets of makeup and things like tweezers, nail clippers that type thing. I also still have fragrance from when I worked for Coty and I still have Yankee candles from when I worked for them. So I am off to a good start for next years Christmas gifts (for girls anyway). I shop all year for little things like I mentioned above, but 13 year old is the only one living at home, so she is the only one that gets somewhat of a big gift and I usually don't get that until November or so, depending on what it is.
