Can you dye clothes in a front load washer?

I need to dye a shirt for dd.

I used to do it in my old washer. Now I have a front loader and can't find any information on dying in them. Has anyone done it? Or, know if for some reason you're not supposed to?

Thanks,
Lisa

I wouldn't. I have done it in a top loader before and it stains the inside a bit. For those reasons I use a bucket now if I really need to dye some items I can't stand to throw out because they are faded. Good Luck!
