is completely frozen!!!







I tried putting my finger through the ice thinking it was probably just on the surface but noooooooooo. The water is frozen all the way through. This is also a fountain that runs on solar power so I unplugged that. I don't want to see little ice cubes coming out of the spigot on the top!

What is the temp there? Is there snow or is it just cold? It's cold here my neighbors don't have birdbaths nor do I there are too many kitties!

Not sure what part of the country you live in, so would this be unusual for your region? We're very much in the frozen tundra where I live.

The low temp this morning was around 28. I'm in central Florida, half way between Orlando and Tampa. This is way too cold for this area.

I got the bb on sale at Lowes last summer. The regular price was around $110 and I got it for $50! It's made out of some type of cement I think. It's hard to the touch but not real heavy if that makes any sense. I love it and it's the first anything I've ever owned that is solar powered.

You bet! They attract more birds than the feeders do.

Ok, I never even thought about birds DRINKING from a birdbath. DUH!

Then it makes sense to have a heated birdbath.

But I admit my first mental picture was of a steaming hot bird bath with birds sitting around in it like a hot tub, kinda like the Mini-wheats guys in the cereal bowl of hot milk, lol!
