I have a lot of respect for.........

Michelle Obama, for the way she is putting her children first, and how she is including her mother in the raising of them.

They definitely need the stability of family in the White House.

I am hoping this example is followed by many.

Who do you respect???

Yes so do I! The loss of the family is throwing this country down the toliet faster than anything!
Do you know how many birth certificates that go unsigned by the father I see every day?? It is terrible that these children are not given the support of two loving adults to raise them.

I thought that was great on another level too. Not only is her mother around to help take care of the kids, but in a sense.. she gets to take care of her mother too. I can't imagine being the mother or mother in law of a president. I imagine that it's kind of like winning the lottery and you'd have all kinds of people coming out of the woodwork wanting something from you or wanting to get close to the president. By living in the White House with the Obama's.. she's spared a lot of that probably.

I do have respect for Michelle O, but I can't help but feel for those two little girls. Their lives will never be the same. No matter what, it will from this point forward be very difficult for them to lead a normal life.
I admire and respect my mother in law. She became a widow at a young age, and successfully worked and raised four children on her own. She did this while living a great distance away from any family that could help her (family lived in Maine, she lived in Maryland). She has had to battle breast cancer (twice). She is one tough lady. She celebrated her 70th birthday last summer and if you ever met her.....you would be amazed. She looks and acts like she is in her 50s.
