OMG!! Wonderful news!!
Some of you may remember last year my son was running for ASB President. He lost the vice presidency by only 4 votes.

Today was the election for the next round of ASB officers.

My son, being the stubborn kid he is (LOL) decided he was going to run for president again.

HE WON!!!

You may remember that my son has Aspergers (a form of Autism) and things are a bit tougher for him in the social aspect.

He had 95 votes - the vice president only had 35 votes. So that tells you how many kids voted for him this time around.

Anyhoo, I just wanted to share my super wonderful news!!

He does not know yet, and will find out at the end of the day.

OP is ASB something to do with school board or is it a sports club or..? Either way sending big congrats to your son, that's wonderful

ASB is "Assistant Student Body" - there is a President, Vice President, Secretary, and I believe 1 "Member at Large".

I bought him some balloons and will bring them to him when I pick him up. And earlier today I stopped at his favorite cupcake shop and purchased him 5 cupcakes (he rarely has them, so this will be really special).

We are also having his favorite dinner tonight.

And, when we go to Disneyland in March, he will have to get one of the "I'm Celebrating" pins, and let everyone know that he is celebrating the fact that he is Student Body President.

I can't wait to see his face when I pick him up from school!!!
