I have to say I have sort of enjoyed the past few days being able to surf the boards like I did before I was working outside the house! On January 10th I tore my hamstring. I was not able to do anything but rest with my leg up for about a week and a half. I cannot BELIEVE how much pain I was in. I posted on another board also that I was enjoying being able to view the boards for more than a few minutes like when I work all day. I was pulled out until the end of Feb. but got clearance to go back on Monday, Feb. 2nd. I am ready, with caution.
I can walk on it now, most of the swelling and bruising has gone. I will just have to be a little careful. I don't believe that I have ever had pain like that. I've popped a disc in my back and had 2 kids but still rank that up there with the worst. I almost passed out instantly and went into shock. My DH was worried. I refused the hospital for fear of MRI. Aside from losing half pay for 2 of the weeks (had banked time for the other week) - I got short term disability (but haven't gotten the check yet) I have over $200 into this little accident! In physical therapy and dr. copays and meds. Man!
