The worst, most horrendous, least stylish clothing on TV!!! Dorothy always wears boots in Miami for Goodness' Sake! I guess Blanche is kind of stylish for an old woman in the 80s but yuck!

Rock of love, at this point they should just go naked because the bare strips of clothing those gals wear is nothing.... As far as the Golden girls go I love that show they make me laugh so much, but I agree with the clothing, another thing that I always thought did not make sense with Dorothy and her mom is that she was soooooo tall and Sophia was so small, I also notice because I watch the reruns that Dorothy always wore alot fo flats because of how tall she was....But I do love the way Brett Micheals Dresses that is the way I love a man to dress rebel and rock and roll all the time long hair and all.. Not TV, but I was just at the dentist looking at an old People mag showing Madonna wearing the dress shown here.....Madonna's green outfit turns heads at Gucci bash | The Sun |Showbiz|Bizarre In general, I think she shows incredibly poor taste in clothing for a woman of her age and means.

I say early Brady Bunch..the girls wore a lot of boyish clothing ( shirts and jeans )..they did have OP brand at one point which was THE thing back in the 70's ( now I think you can buy it at WM or Kmart ?) Alice with her cheap white tennis shoes and uniform.

Off the topic I know, but Madonna is just crazy these days!!!

And this is coming from someone who had a lifesize poster of her in my bedroom as a teenager!! She needs to realize how ridiculous she looks in her concert outfits as well!! Her ex made the comment about her looking like a grandma in her concert clothes, and she really does!! Just because she is totally in shape doesn't mean that clothes for 20 year olds still look good on her.

I don't know, maybe she just feels because she can fit into them, that she looks good. I remember being out one night with a big group, and a guy pointed someone out and said, and I will never forget this , "Just because they make it in your size doesn't mean you should wear it", and he was so right.

Just my opinion.

Just curious, did you think the TV outfits were horrible at the time or just now looking back in retrospect? We all wore some pretty kooky things back in the '80s and'90s but they seemed pretty normal to us at the time. We all thought we looked awesome but now when I think back on what I wore in my 20's, all I can say is, "What was I thinking?"

I think you're right...when you look at things in retrospect, they do seem horrible....clothing, haircuts, make-up, etc. Are there shows on RIGHT NOW that you think the clothing is terrible? The "reality" love shows with the silicon boobs and lips are the one that comes most to mind to me. Besides the clothes and implants, I wonder what the very-tattooed women are going to look like when they're 50-60-70 years old. Yuck.
