My son was seriously injured when he was hit by a car while crossing the street, as many of you know. After months of hospitalization, too many surgeries to count, and a lot of prayers from all My Coupon Friends, we are lucky enough to have him here with us and he continues to improve more and more each day. We'll be going across the country in a few weeks to see a surgeon who believes he can help my son's facial paralysis. Please keep him in your prayers as he still has a ways to go. Thanks in advance!

I remember when you posted to tell us about your son. I'm glad he's continuing to improve. I hope this new surgeon will be able to help him. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you all again for your thoughts, prayers and kind words. Right now I'm trying to find a reasonably priced hotel near Beverly Hills (yikes!) for us to stay for the 10 days we're there. In addition, I'm trying to get my hours covered at work. I don't have any definite dates yet, so it's hard to try to make these plans, but if the surgery is even just a little bit succesful, it will all be worth it.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Your post reminded me that my DH and I were in a car accident 2 years ago also on 2/10/07.

I'm sure this has been a very difficult year for your family, but I am glad to hear that he is, in fact, getting better day by day.
