This doesn't sound good at all. The father of the 5 year old Florida girl lives with his 17 year old girlfriend in a trailer. The 17 year old girlfriend says that the child must have been abducted while she was sleeping right next to her. The girlfriend says that she discovered her missing but hadn't called the police. Haley was reported missing when her father returned home from work. The girlfriend told a 911 dispatcher that a back door that was usually locked had been propped open by a brick. CPS has been to the home before and police won't reveal the results of the polygraph the girlfriend has taken.

The police have conducted a massive search for this child by air, ground and water and haven't been able to find her. I hope they locate her and the child is well but it doesn't sound good so far..

My first thought was how old is Dad? And why is the girlfriend only 17?
But, it appears Dad is probably younger...since the grandmother is only 43!
Also, how does one NOT know that a child has been snatched that was lying right beside you, and why on God's green Earth would you leave a door propped open?? Not in this day and age, anyway.

These stories depress me. I can't imagine how insane I would be if one of my children disappeared.

I saw a story that said the dad was 25 years old, and that the door was propped open not by the residents but by the person who snatched the little girl. Of course I don't know if that is true, sometimes these stories have crazy endings. I sure hope they find the little one safe

I did see this story before leaving for work. The dad is sure emotional and my heart goes out to him.

I can only imagine how it must feel to have your child go missing.

i sure hope its not one of those jealous girlfriend things. i read that the dad was at work and came home and thats when the girlfriend said that the girl had went to the bathroom around 3 or so and i dont know if the girlfriend fell back to sleep and when the dad came home she woke up and they figured out that the girl wasnt in the bed? I was just wondering why a parent would let a 17 yr old live with a 25 yr old and his two kids? unless she was over there babysitting while he was at work. also they said they found child footprints so far out in the backyard, you would think that they would seen two sets of prints? unless she wandered off? i dont know but something doesnt sound right. I hope they find her and get to the bottom of it.
