We've been having a lot of fun w/that site, learned many interesting things. DH and I saw a large flock of Snow Geese before Christmas near our home. It was the first time I'd ever seen those birds in anything other than pics. Checked it out online and found out that many were reported in the part of the country we lived in the longest, but none here. Methinks I need to report what we saw here and keep a camera w/me at all times. My late MIL was a bird lover, she's the one who got me into appreciating watching what birds came to visit us, no matter where we lived. She was born in a town that was some Indian word for *Canadian Goose*. When DH and I saw the Snow Geese flock we both felt as if she was hugging us, giving us a special gift because she loved geese so much. |
