| I have found that Liquid Nails works on a lot of things. I built a birthday cake that an adult could jump out of (another whole story) using hula hoops, PVC pipe and metal gussets/braces and put it all together with Liquid Nails. The cake has been "jumped" from several times and it's still holding up.

I have never had much luck with trying to glue metal. . .but I was going to suggest the liquid nails too. It seems to work very well. My mom swears by the E-6000, but I have never tried it. I'm not to sure, but Gorilla Glue might be another option.
