Day at the dog Park

We take our boy to the off leash dog park a couple times a week. I thought I would share a couple pics from Saturday's visit.

This is Rusty's favorite litte buddy.

You have some super shots ! What sort of camera do you use ? We take our medium sized dog to a dog park in Sanford, FL & she spends most of the time hiding behind our legs !

Love the pic of the 2 dogs, especially the dog w/the flying ears.
What kinda dog do you have? He's absolutely beautiful, love his colors and plume of a tail.

The photos were taken by my sweetie. He shoots with a Pentax K10 DSLR.
Rusty is a red and white Border Collie.
And I promise he isn't spoiled a bit.
I love going to the dog park, it is such a pick me up.

I've never seen anything other than B&W border collies, your dog is irresistibly gorgeous in my book, love his colors, and especially that tail! Aren't you the lucky one to have such an attractive (and not spoiled ;-) dog pal.

ETA: the pic with the 2 dogs is wonderful, great action shot, have you considered entering it into some kinda dog photo contest? It's one of those dog lovers' type of pics.

Yes I do feel lucky. Rusty is a rescue and the first red and white that I had ever seen. He came through 4 homes to get to us. And as long as one of us is alive, this is his forever home.
Can you believe that anyone ever looked at this face and wanted to shoot him?
Yup, the rancher that had bought Rusty was going to put him down because Rusty has zero, zip, nada, no herding skills. A fact that our fat old cat appreciates.
And did I mention that he is so smart he may help me do taxes this year.
That's my boy.

>>>Can you believe that anyone ever looked at this face and wanted to shoot him? <<

My first reaction was oh m'gosh, how could anyone destroy such a beautiful animal who has so much animation in his eyes?!
After about 2 seconds, remembering things I have learned through life, I could believe it.
Just looking at your pics of him, this is the kinda dog I would not be able to resist at a shelter.
I am jealous, almost ;-)
If I didn't have the 2 most fabuloso rescue dogs on the planet I *would* be jealous ;-)
And this comes from a person who was a non-dog lover (am definitely a cat person) before our last 2 dogs joined our fam. Can no longer imagine living w/out dogs till the day I take my own dirt nap, will be a major mess when our dogs die.

Fantastic pictures and your dog is very beautiful. I'm a cat person but, when I see pictures like yours, I think that some day I may want a dog.
