| In memory of my friend...
To my dear treadmill. You brought me such joy and pain. You were with me through thick and thin. You helped me learn to love to run and you helped me train for my first 5K and my second 5K. You let my kids climb all over you and yet continued to be so reliable. I traded you in during the summer time, for some running in the sun, but you always sat patiently waiting for me, knowing I'd be back because I'm such a wimp in the cold. You helped me loose the baby fat from 2 of my babies and you wore out a few pairs of my running shoes. You were cheap, $166 on clearance and a floor model at that, yet you laughed at that 90 day warranty, even if your maker didn't have faith in you, I did. We had a good 4 year run, but it is now time to say goodbye. I'll always miss you and cherish our time together. RIP 2005-2009 |

Yes, here it is... It's over 3 times what I paid for the other, but it's got great reviews... I'm just going to go crazy over the 3-5 week delivery time... I might have to brave the cold... Costco - $699.99 After $150 OFF Reebok S9.80 Folding Treadmill |

I love my treadmill, so consider me in sympathy with the feelings you expressed within your RIP. Because I run, I bit the bullet and purchased a health club treadmill, and it was the best investment I could make. While the cost of nearly $5,000 was steep, it does all the things I needed it to do for my work out. I had to have one that had speed settings down to 0.0 because at the end of my run, I place my speed down to 0.7 and do lunges, which stretch your muscles out, tone the butt even more and give you that long, lean look to your lower body. It was hard to find one with the specifications I desired including the low speed settings. Enjoy your new friend. It's great to hear other people that take their health seriously enough to make an investment such as you have. |

I am positive I know that lake I have seen it when I went to see my mom who is in Winter Haven FL... It is beautiful there she has Orange groves not too far from her and where we want to move if DH wins his SSDI appeal the community has Citrus Groves all around it. We're looking at Auburndale or Eagle Lake from Maronda homes. OP~ sorry about your dear friend, but your new friend is sure to give you many years of use. I only wish I had room for one it might help me a little bit even though I have problems walking

![]() Auburndale is really nice and I feel fortunate that we chose this town when we moved here. We really didn't know much about the area. If you have any questions about this town, feel free to ask.

Do you have a big house? I had a treadmill at one time but didn't like having it in the living room and my bedroom just didn't have the space for it. We have a 1600 sq ft home and just have the basics, room-wise (ie living room, dining room, bedrooms, etc.). Our thrift store always has tons of used exercise equipment for next to nothing and oftentimes close to new. I've picked a few things up there over the years (got a Gazelle there!), bleached it clean, and then when I'm ready for a change, I sell and go back to the thrift store. Sorry about your friend but happy that you have a new and better friend! Enjoyed the eulogy. |

| Oh, dear! Sorry, nope, not a dog, just my beloved treadmill... So the treadmill is "shipping" currently, so I'm hoping it doesn't take too long to get here. I've been going to our clubhouse (HOA), but I really don't like the treadmills there, and I know those were at least 10x the amount we paid for our original one. Anyway, then Saturday, I went on a long run and finally did 6 miles, so I'm not going to totally kill over and die after I cross the finish line on the 10K I'm getting ready for.
