We have Time Warner and as much as I hate them, I hate AT&T even more. We keep getting those ads, too, and throw them away because once something gets screwed up with AT&T you will NEVER get it fixed! Their customer service is the worst! Lisa

We have Uverse and I mostly like it. Quite frankly, though, I wish we had never switched from Dish. Let me give you the pros and cons as I see them.... Pros for Uverse - can watch recorded shows on all TVs, rebates in the form of gift cards, discount for multiple products (home phone, cell, etc), pretty good cost, easy to use, doesn't go out during storms or high winds Cons for Uverse - cannot have multiple DVRs (can only record, pause, etc. on one TV), consolidated billing - difficult to understand and very difficult to get answers because everything is out of different departments at AT & T, customer service is hit or miss I miss having 2 DVRs, which worked great for us with Dish. I also hate calling AT&T for any customer service issues. To get my last bill worked out, I was on the phone for 1 hour and 45 minutes. That's ridiculous. They couldn't tell me what some of the charges were for, so they finally just started giving me credits to get me off the phone. Worked for me because they gave me more than the charges in question. BUT, I had to spend forever with them on the phone and they had lots of documentation of previous problem calls from me.

Not sure where in Indiana you are, but we have had it for about 8 months and love it. My DFIL had it for about a year before he died and he loved it too. My DS has had it for about 10 months and he also loves it. We never had any customer service issues and when they came and installed it they were all day and explained everything very well. We had comcast before AT&T and hands down AT&T is not only cheaper for us, we are happier with it.

I am an AT&T customer service rep for wireless phones. I have to agree some of the people I sit next to surprise me to hear them talking to customers. It is a very stressful job, low pay & policy and procedures change on a weekly basis.
