Good luck to your daughter! Unfortunately, it will be a couple of months before she knows the results of the bar. My daughter took the bar exam and passed on her first try. She was convinced that she did poorly because she was very sick with food poisoning. She ordered room service in the evening and was very sick the first day of the exam. However, she actually did well. My daughter is now a partner in a law firm. That's awesome your daughter already has a job. Please keep us posted when she gets her results. My daughter's were posted online early in the AM. I think it was almost 3 months before the results are posted. Probably varies from state to state. |

What kind of law is your daughter in, mine will be in labor law. We will know the results sometime in May. My daughter was also ill with a head cold, and thinks she did poorly on the exam. We have heard her say that before and she has done okay so we hope that will be the case this time. She actually felt sick the first day and had to go to the bathroom and throwup, it must have been her nerves. I met her for lunch both days and we had sandwiches and I helped to calm her down some. It was nice being there for her. She will have some down time in Puerto Rico with her dad for a week they leave on Saturday. |

My daughter has three attorneys that are partners in their firm. They practice all types of law, with the exception of bankruptcy. Primarily litigation, probate, and real estate. They each represent several cities and villages and zoning commisions. They try and stay away from criminal offenses. I bet that your daughter did very well on the exam. Yes, it probably was nerves. I think that most of the ones who say that they "think" they did poorly on the exams, actually pass them and do well. I have heard that from 3 or 4 others who took the bar and were so surprised when they actually did well. The ones that did poorly and did not pass the first time were the first to admit that they did not study or read as much as they should have. If your daughter put forth the effort to study and was well prepared, I bet she will pass! I know how hard it is to wait for those results to be posted! 3 months is a very long time! Cannot wait to see how your daughter did! |
