Our cable people added the MLB network this year and we'll get to see a Red Sox Spring training game down here in Florida.

Two years ago the Sox played Detroit during Spring training and the Tigers are located in Lakeland which is only about 10 miles from me. I went to that game and it was a blast.

Eric Hinske was playing for the Sox in 2007. He hit a grand slam homerun during that game.


A near fight. This get together happened after the Detroit pitcher was tossed from the game from brushing the hitter back.


A super game with a great ending. BTW, I was about 10 rows behind Detroit's dugout and the cost of my ticket was a whopping $17!!! I'm not sure you could get a beer a Fenway for that.
