Jim Belushi, he even posed on stage when he was singing so I could get a great pic of him. John McCain, ran into him and Cindy at LAX and they were so nice, they chatted with dh and I for several minutes. Gallagher , he was awesome!!! The 1st time dh and I went to see him, I was preggers with my oldest AND it was my birthday. Before the show he was out front and I mentioned to him it was my birthday - that's why we were there, and at the end of the show he had me (and a few others) come up on stage so we could get food smashed at us. Plus he autographed my T-Shirt.

I've met many county music artists in the last 6 years or so and I can honestly say a majority of them are very, very nice. The ones I truly appreciate are the people who realize that they would never be famous if it weren't for their fans and therefore, treat their fans accordingly.

I am not really a fan of Celine Dion, but we happened to be in NYC several years ago when she was coming out from a rehearsal. She was extremely gracious to her fans who were all patiently waiting for her to exit. One little girl and her mom were so excited they couldn't get the camera going, etc. She just said to relax and take your time she would wait for them to get the perfect picture. I thought that was really nice, she was smiling the whole time and we even got her autograph for a friend of ours.

I have also met Gallagher at least 30 years ago and he was very nice and funny. He came into where I worked and talked to everyone. They had about 5 of us take a picture standing around him holding a piece of his hair. I think they used the picture for our newletter.

Some years ago the country music singer Aaron Tippin was driving a big truck through all the small towns promoting his new CD. I think he's sexy... anyway... he was just a regular guy.. he hadn't showered or shaved yet.. and he posed for a pic for me. I think he's sexy...errr i already said that.

David Cassidy! He is extremely gracious. Not only is he nice to people he meets, he literally crouches down while singing mind you and stops singing for a moment to hear what you are telling him. Not only did I have a pleasant experience in shaking his hand and saying something to him but everything I hear and read and see about him reveals that he really is one nice guy.

| I met former president Bill Clinton
I was in the Oval Office on a tour, and he walked in unexpectedly before Secret Service could catch up to him. He walked over to me and was like, "Hi, how are ya?" He's very tall and was very nice. |

Senator Wayne Allard was nice. He was behind me in line at the Post Office on voting day. He's from the city I live in (Loveland, CO) and was home to vote. He was chatting with everyone who stopped by him to say "good luck" (he was running for re-election). I met Patrick Duffy (Dallas, Step by Step) at a ballet in LA probably 20 years ago. His son bumped into me on the stairs (I assume it was his son) and he was all apologetic. Nice guy

Paige Hemmis and Michael Maloney from Extreme Home Makeover were both so friendly and sincere. They were doing a house in a town about 30 mins from here and I took my daughter. It was an all day ordeal, but it was worth it. We saw Ty Pennington too, but he just walked by and waved (he did seem very busy though). Paige and Michael came out to the fence where people were lined up several times. They talked, took pictures and signed autographs with everyone. . .they even signed my daughters backpack. Paige kept telling her how much she loved it because it was hot pink. They were both great! Barry Mannilow was very gracious too. I was with a friend flying home out of Las Vegas and we saw him at the airport. My friend kind of chased him down and asked for an autograph. He was very approachable and gladly stopped and signed for her. It turns out we were on the same flight. And the last one. . .off all people Lawrence Welk. We were at his resort in California and just walking around a corner and there he was all by himself. My Dad was sooooo excited (he is also from North Dakota and of that age group that loves his music.) I was horribly embarassed that my Dad was so excited. . lol! But he was very nice. He talked to us for about 15 minutes and I got to take lots of pictures of him with my parents.

Like 25 yrs ago I met the entire cast from Happy days they were doing a baseball tour playing Army teams in Germany. I was trying to take Henry Winklers pix and that little witch.. Cathy Silvers (Jenny Piccolo) told me to leave him alone he is trying to concentrate. But Henry told me to go ahead and take another picture. He was so nice.. I got 2 good pix of him. John Berry not a really famous country singer.. but a few years ago I was on a valenines cruise and he was one of the singers there to entertain. I had to use the restroom and went down to the next level through the steps and ran right into him. I apologized and he said it was ok. LOL.. at first I didnt reconize him.. Then realized who I almost knocked down when I seen the swarm of people start wanting autographs. I thought that was really nice of him. Almost forgot Peggy Flemming. I met her at a grand opening of a Kmart store around 15 years ago. A friend and I went to get her autograph. Sad thing was there was not a line of people nor did many people seem very interested. She was very friendly, and chatted with us for a good 20 min until we just had to leave. Last edited by ronnang; 02-27-2009 at 12:40 PM. Reason: adding something |

Those are such great examples of really nice encounters! I really love reading that! I never had a nice encounter - I've actually only had a few encounters at all, but they weren't great. At the risk sounding like a party pooper, I'll tell of my little Rosie encounter. She was doing a live show on a Tuesday morning and I couldn't wait to be in the live studio audience because, from what I saw on TV, it always seemed like a party was going on in the actual studio! The guests on this particular day were Kevin Bacon and his band, and Linda Evans, promoting a piece of exercise equipment. Both of these stars were gracious, and waved and smiled at the audience appropriately -- even during commercials! However, when they'd be getting ready to cut to commercials, or just coming out of commercials, Rosie would be throwing stuff at the audience (as TV audiences always saw), flinging her fooze balls, shooting out prizes, etc. But in reality, she only did that for the cameras. As soon as they yelled "CUT!" she turned away, and ignored us until they yelled "TEN SECONDS!!" Then she started aiming at us again as they went back on the air live...pretending that all the while there had been commercials rolling, we had all been having a fun time w/Rosie! But she never looked at us during commercials - only the other guest stars interacted with us. At the end of the show Rosie stepped off her stage, and stood while the announcer told the audience that Rosie would sign autographs, but only for those 12 and under. Um, how many audience members do you think were really under 12? She was out of there in one minute after the show wrapped, due to the predictable lack of 12 year olds. Not even a "Thanks, everyone, for coming - I hope you had fun..." Sorry for my wrench in an otherwise nice upbeat thread of great experiences! I'm enjoying everyone else's stories!

I almost forgot about Bubby Brister! ![]() My gf and I were flying to Tampa for some fun (many, many years ago) and apparently Bubby was sitting in the row behind us (coach, not 1st class), we had no clue who he was. When we landed, I heard people saying "look, he's that quarterback".....well, I knew who it was than! Even tho I had NEVER seen a pic of him, I knew it was Bubby. So we raced over, followed him into the bar and he bought us a few rounds of drinks, we just sat there talking like we had known him for years. He was very pleasant to talk to (mmm, and to drink with....LOL). To this day I still have the straw that he drank his drink with.

Stephen King was really nice. I went to a lecture where he spoke at the university I was attending then I met him later that night at a wine and cheese party. I had brought my copy of The Stand with me and he was nice enought to autograph it for me. I have alot of NBA and baseball autographs from when DH and I used to go to card shows and games, most of the players were really, really nice except Ryan Klesko. Also, very rude was Jaque (sp?) used to play on that twins show that was on the Disney channel forever.

Yes actually we have met Jon Gruden who was first the coach from the Raiders then the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. We met him 3 times omg, each time was better then the first. I have pics of him with his arms around my dh and my kids and several autographs. Two times we met him were at his brothers Jay arean football team. We were both times high in the crowd like row 26 and he sat right behind us. He was so friendly and so so nice, we even met one of his sons and his Dad. The last time we met was 2 years ago at the training camp in Orlando.. Again a very nice person and extremely freindly with our kids.. Peace. Catherine

Ted Neeley and the late Carl Anderson. I saw them in the mid-90's when they toured with Jesus Christ Superstar. We saw it 12 times and talked to them each time. They are very, very good with their fans. Carl and my now almost 25 year old had a special relationship. He gave my son his home address and told him to write to him! We called him a few times a year and actually stopped at his home when we were in LA. He is/was married to Veronica Ali (Muhammeds ex-wife and the mother of Laila Ali.) and we met her too. Carl passed away from cancer a few years ago. Ted is also very, very nice. When the tour passed through our town back in 1994 he gave my son a backstage pass so we could come and go as we pleased!! So we got to hang out with cast and crew. Ted also gave my son his address too. Ted usually spends hours after the show meeting people. We even got to go eat supper with him once. Yes, we broke bread with Jesus! lol Those are memories that my sons and I will share forever. They were the only two people in the world that I would have ever wanted to meet if I got to make a wish and I sure never thought I would!!! It was awesome. Met Weird Al after a show once but it was a quick walk through the line. |

David Letterman was pretty similar to Rosie, except he didn't pretend to be having fun with us during the breaks. He just got up from his desk and walked into a corner with his back facing the audience. Oh well. Way back when I was in college, Harry Anderson was doing his magic/stand-up routine and I got called up on stage. He was pretty nice.

I met Yanni a few times back in the 80's when he was with the band Chameleon. My friend was "in love" with someone else in the band and was borderline stalking the poor fellow. Yanni was VERY nice, quiet kind of guy. I never asked for his autograph though, he was just Yanni - some great looking guy in a rock band - back then. ![]() I met Rupaul a few times in the late 80's while living in Atlanta. I had a gal friend that knew him. She would take me to some pretty cool places that a gal from the midwest would normally never know about. He was super cool! I still have a little flier thingy somewhere in my "stuff". He looked pretty wild (good wild) back then. He was really wild looking! I loved it!I have met a bunch of NASCAR drivers and did get their autographs, a lot of them were cool, some were icky, some I wouldn't give you two cents for after the experience. But, they were working and I guess if I was trying to work and people were swarming around me, I might be a little icky too. The best one was David Gilliland, it was his first race. He was thrilled when I asked for his autograph! His dad was a beaming proud papa - was giving away M&M's to everyone! Richard Petty was WAY COOL!! |

Dick Clark is absolutely the most amazing man I have ever met. Zsa Zsa Gabor should have been dumped a long time ago. Rude beyond belief. Even her hired representation were treated no different than her "servants". Pat Benetar and her husband are fantastic, down to earth people. Very private, but very friendly.

I've met: Fabio--was sooo nice it was sickening Totally a sweetheart in real life. Gorgeous too but he seemed really small--maybe it was his tiny waist. Very muscular though. James Hyde (Sam from Passions)--was also very very nice. He even gave all of my kids Passions necklaces and other stuff that wasn't laid out for all the fans to see. He talked to us for about 30 minutes--I actually was shocked. This was in a WalMart one afternoon at a table they had set up for him, I don't really think anyone else knew who he was! I was the only person that came over to talk to him. I loved him when he was on Another World too so I knew who he was for sure. Such a good experience. He is gorgeous but shorter than you'd think seeing him on t.v. Thin thin too but muscular. He was very down to Earth also, told me about when he was in the Army, etc., told me about his wife/girlfriend/fiancee (I can't remember now what stage they were in--I remember him saying she is a model). Just talked about his life in general. He was totally blown away that I remembered him from Another World. I finally had to go on and get my shopping done, lol. Wynonna Judd (and her ex Roach--she was married to him at the time of course though)--both were very nice. She took time with us and re-took a picture that didn't get taken signing my dd's guitar. She gave one of my kids a cd since I hadn't purchased 'enough stuff' for each family member, lol (my baby was only like a year old at the time--it was sweet of her to do). She even whispered in my ear, "Looks like you have your hands full!" I had 3 kids at the time (I have 4 now). Her kids were little then too so she understood she said. We were next to the last in line and it didn't look like we were going to get to meet her--they announced that she had a plane to catch & if she didn't leave immediately she'd miss it. Well, she still had about 10 people in line to meet/sign for and I overheard her tell her 'people' to redo their flight plans, another flight out, etc., or they'd just stay over, she really wanted to stay and meet the rest of the people in line. We had been there for almost 2 hours in line. It was way above and beyond. She's the real deal in my opinion anyway. DH has met Mark Martin and some other Nascar drivers. Mark is his 'idol' lol and he was very nice to him. I think my DH took about 10 cars/other merchandise to be signed and he happily signed every single thing. Rolling eyes Not to mention he took I think 2 rolls of film and got digitals! Funny!I met Kenny Chesney once and he was very rude to the fans, me included. He was snarky, wouldn't let anyone take pictures (my DH asked nicely if he would mind if he took a picture of me w/Kenny), acted like it was killing him to sign tickets, etc. Just general rudeness. It was a small group as it was outside of a casino where he had performed earlier in Mississippi one night. This is before he made it 'huge' like he is now. I was about his #1 fan too and it just ruined him for me, sadly. To the point that I didn't really want to meet any other celebrities ever again. lol I always get a good chuckle when I see him on t.v. these days saying 'it's all about the fans', etc. Or whatever it is he says about it all. I hope he has changed for the better or for all I know he was just having a bad night (but one would think he would have just stepped back up onto his bus and closed the door then that night--he was standing on his bus steps; the bus was not 'hid' or anything, it was right out in front of the casino). Maybe he just didn't know how to respond 'way back when', lol. He does put on a great show though I must say. I guess that's what it's really all about anyway. Being entertained. In college I was dating a football player for the university & they assisted Lorrie Morgan as extra bodyguards (around the stage if that makes any sense at all) the night she came to the college to perform. He said she was a serious B to everyone. I didn't meet her though so I can't speak for myself. I've also met and worked with some of the 'major' corporate CEOs in the U.S. (can't really call them celebrities but they are/were on t.v. a lot and you'd know who they were if I said). This is when I worked for this major company over 10 years ago. The top person is a very nice man with a lot of class. I knew I'd think of some more...When I was a kid I met Bill Clinton at our hometown parade. He just walked up to me and shook my hand and started talking to me. He was very nice. It was when he was Governor of Arkansas. I met him again years later when I was in Arkansas Girls' State. I was chosen as the Lt. Governor in girls' state and got to go to the capital to 'run' the state for the day/shadow the Arkansas governor's office. Neat. I met other politicians that day too, but none 'famous' outside of the state I guess. Last edited by sadarl; 03-01-2009 at 02:04 AM. |

Oops I almost forgot , last April my dh Tommy met Denis Leary, they were filming a scene in a cemetary back in queens where he works. He got in and close because he knows the person who takes care of the cemetary property. Short story some of the other cast members were there and my Tommy met them including Tatum O'Neil, this show is Rescue me if anyone is familar with the show. Needless to say for my dh who loves loves the show and was a huge fan, Denis Leary was not nice at all and my dh was disappointed, my dh tried to ask a few questions and make some small talk, he basically was very cold.he truly did not want to be bothered and when my dh said he is from New York City and told Denis me and especially my son love the Boston Red Sox, he answered you should all new york teams suck. OH well he tried, not everyone wants to be approached or even bothered so I guess we live and learn.. It was nice hearing all the other stories. Now if I could only meet Gary Oldman my luck I would pass out. perhaps one day lol.. Peace and blessings to all. Catherine

Met Rick Allen and Phil Collen from Def Leppard. Both total sweeties. We we're waiting by the back stage door and Rick came out and walked right into the crowd and took pics and signed autographs. After the concert Phil did the same thing. Me, being shy and wanting to met Phil for over 20 years, the DH asked him if he would take a pic with me. Phil said "Not a problem" and wrapped his arm around me....OH BOY ~~sigh~~ Well worth the wait. I've talked to other people who have met him and they all say the same thing. He'll (Phil) is very outgoing with the fans and will talk to you like he's known you all his life.

I know some of you had a bad experience with famous people they meet out and about. Dont let it sour you against them. Remember they are human, they have bad days, get sick, etc.. Also remember that these people would love to have some time off sometime, even though they are in the public eye they are followed and photographed all the time. I have a friend who is a cousin of a famous person, while I have never met her cousin when she goes to visit him she gets so frazzled from all the people and papparzzi that are around him constantly. She said people will just come up while he is in the middle of eating dinner and want pictures and autographs, or to help them with thier career, or just want to talk, he can't even finish a meal. So keep it mind the ones that are rude or snarky, might just be having a bad day, or have had too many people in thier faces all day.

Wow...some of you ladies have met some very intersting people. We don't get alot of celebs up here in Maine. Steven King worked out at the same gym that I did several years ago. I would see him and talk with him occasionally. He was just like everyone else working out. Didn't expect to be treated differently, and for the most part, thats the way it was. The only other person I can think of that I have met is retired nascar driver Ricky Craven. He actually went to the same high school as I did!

Never met but eaten in the same cafe with Clint Eastwood and his family (I left them alone). Met and visited with many on the AZ Diamondbacks baseball team. Husband met Suzanne Somers. Lots of makeup and very sweet, according to him. Eddie Munster... (Butch Patrick) signed his autograph for me -- on his credit card payment when I worked at Maswick Lodge at the Grand Canyon. |

His dad is a very nice, humble man. and one of his election things was if he was elected then he would donate his salary back to the school and he actually has donated his whole salary back to the schools. I think that speak alot about him. Now kenny on the other hand I dont hear much good about him in the community. steph

What I find pretty interesting here is that the people who found particular stars to be extra nice were found to be extra nice by other posters here, too. Similarly, the ones who were less than gracious were found to be that way consistently by other posters, as well. Most of the stars listed above are paid obscene amounts of money - more than they deserve, by most opinions. So of course they are held to a higher standard. If they can't manage a smile and a wave on a 'bad day,' why should they get any more sympathy than me, when I'm having a bad day, and am still expected to be kind and considerate of others? I think most of us are not so starstruck as to realize that the people who made them stars deserve descent treatment, as well. We're all human.

We were at this pancake house resturant and i look over and say that looks like dom deluise. It was so random, there were people all around him and he was just sitting there eating and being so nice to everybody. We didnt go up b/c i figure he was eating he should be left alone. We found out later that it really was him b/c he was in the opening ceremonies of dollywood opening weekend. steph

I forgot to mention -- When I was a kid I shared a room with Peter Ustinov's daughter, Pavla. I was just a 7, so I had no idea who her father was. Pavla was very nice and sweet to me. My Mom was disgusted though because her parents never came to visit while she was in there. One day, Pavla was all excited because her mother or step-mother (I forget which) was supposed to visit, but she never showed up. Pavla was so disappointed. At least my Mom was nice to her.

I haven't met any of the newer stars so I can't vouch for how they treat fans but hopefully they will follow in the footsteps of those who paved the road for them. I am a Nascar fan as well but haven't had the chance to met any of the drivers in person. But Tony Stewart was in town once at one of his car sponsors and was very rude to his fans who were there to see him. At that time I was sort of on the fence as to whether I liked him or not. Needless to say, that took me off the fence and I haven't liked him since.

On another note, we met Tim Wakefield and a bunch of the other Red Sox players-they were fantabulous! It was a Make-A-Wish trip for our oldest, and the whole team went out of their way. Even the manager, Terry Francona, came and found us in the crowd, and we probably chatted w/ him for about 10mins. about kids, family, college, etc. I guess that's probably it, other than the NHL coaches I met in a bar when I was at a hotel convention. I recognized some of the other players earlier in the day before thegame. So after the game, I thought these guys were players (since they were all wearing VERY nice suits,so I congratulated them on their game). I was by myself, and just wanted to veg a bit after my day. I got my glass of wine, and they proceeded to engage me in their broken Canadian speak. They were gorgeous, I was just a mom, and they just wanted to have a conversation w/ someone who DEFINITELY was not going to go back to their rooms w/ them. It was so much fun-they had so many inside stories to share-at the end of the night, there was no bill for me. |

Many years ago I worked at a famous resort in Tucson and had the displeasure of meeting Barbara Walters. What a nasty witch she was. She talked down to everyone and reduced more than one person to tears. I was heartbroken because I admired her so much. Now I see her on tv and have flash backs of her antics. (OMG maybe she gave me post traumatic stress disorder lol) I met Ann B Davis (Alice from the Brady Bunch) in Albuquerque, oh my gosh she was so sweet and was surprised that anyone recognized her. I met Alice Cooper many times in Phoenix, the last time at 7-11. He is a very nice guy and will stop, sign and talk with everyone. I met Glen Campbell once and he is nice but acted very shy. I have met quite a few celebrities working at resorts in Tuscon, Scottsdale and Paradise Valley AZ. For the most part they were all very nice except ms waawaa Oh my gosh I forgot I met Mick Jagger at a small shop in Santa Fe. My mom recognized him and I went up and said hi. He was with his kids and I didnt want to bother him. My mom almost killed me for not getting his autograph. I really didn't like his music. lol Also, he is so skinny and really tiny, short.

| Almost 20 years ago Bruce Willis came to Laughlin NV in the middle of the night and played some 21. Very nice guy. It was like talking to somebody you grew up with. And I understand from my sweetie that Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top is really friendly and "a great guy". I of course wouldn't know because I was waiting for him on the other side of the building while he was gabbing with Billy. The thought to come get me never occured to him. DOH!! I have a friend that works at the MGM Grand in Vegas and he has a lot of stories about the celebs that play the Garden. The two he couldn't deal with the diva act were: Madonna, where ever she was the air conditioning had to be turned off. It's the desert for pity's sake. Barbara Stiesand, no one on staff was allowed to make eye contact with her and were to avoid looking at her (even if she didn't know you were looking) for any length of time. On the other hand he thought the Stones were a blast.

When I was 15 I had lunch with Jon Bon Jovi's brother Matt at their uncle's pizzaria. I also met Alec Jon Such. My dad used to drive his older brother around when he was a kid and he would tag along and when he was doing an autograph signing in the mall, my dad took me and he actually stopped before walking into the store he was suppose to go into and talked to us for awhile then took me with him into the store and told the woman I was with him I also met Kenny Chesney, he was siging autographs at the record store in the mall and I went to get my DS a signed cd, even though at the time I had no clue who he was and I was walking in and he was walking with a group of people and goofing around and walked into me and my soda went all over my white shirt and since I didn't know who he was, I called him an idiot said "Oh great I have to get my son some guy's cd with a stained see thru shirt" Kenny said "I am that idiot" we both laughed and I kept apologizing and so did he then he went and took a cd from the shelf and signed it for me so I could leave right away.I also met a lot of the wwe wrestlers. I met x-pac, kane, matt and jeff hardy, mick foley, the big show, the undertaker and a few others who I can't remember at the moment.

Until recently Sandi Patty lived in our town and she was wonderful to the local kids. My kids went to school with her kids and she was great to the choirs. I know last year she invited the kids to sing with her on several occasions and she was always critiqueing their shows. She has been greatly missed this year. Last year she chaperoned the kids in Epcot for a choir competition. I wonder how many people in the audience realized that mom who was offering the words of encouragement and suggestions was also a Grammy winner!

I've met several ccm artists. We went to a concert about 3 years ago with Mark Shultz and Avalon. My dd always made us wait for autographs, I could care less but she liked to so we did. Well, we got up to Mark and I leaned in and told him it was my DH's 40th birthday. He told the members of Avalon and they stopped with the autographs long enough to sing him happy birthday. It was pretty special for him, they were so nice. But one of my favorites, Chris Rice was not rude, but certainly not friendly and that made me sad. Oh and I got a personal phone call from Scott Krippayne. Not so famous but also one of my favs. A friend went to his concert and I was SO jealous, when she got up to see him she asked if he would say hi to her friend. I had no idea who was on the phone at first...it was too sweet. He was very kind. I love that...lol And my kids have sang back up for Steve Green.. He did at least one duet with Sandi Patty...I think. He almost had to borrow my sons truck! He's not one of my favs, but it was pretty cool.

I've been very lucky to know or have met many country artists. Little Big Town and Carolina Rain I'm on a first name basis with, and I've met Neal McCoy, Vince Gill, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, The Lost Trailers, Mel Tillis, T. Graham Brown, Mel McDaniel, Julie Roberts, Ray Scott, Whiskey Falls and many others. Though Jeff Bates is the only one that really rubbed me the wrong way.

I met Jared Padalecki in Canada on the set of "Supernatural". His girlfriend at the time..Sandra McCoy...arranged the meeting. My daughter and I met her near the set when she was out in the morning walking his dog for him. He was very sweet, tall, and had the brightest teeth I have ever seen. The caterers invited us to eat, and my daughter dropped her roll, then Jared got her a new one. Last year, my husband and I met Jim Gaffigan at a meet and greet after one of his shows. He is VERY gracious and naturally funny. He is very good with his fans. I saw Letterman's Show last fall in New York. Natalie Portman, Artie Lange, and Brad Paisley were the guests. It was fun, but I think during the show it is hard for Dave and the crew to visit with the audience because they go through the show so quickly, and then we were whisked out of the theater as soon as it was over. My hands hurt from clapping after the hour there, but it was fun. I also saw "Equus" on Broadway last year with my brother. Daniel Radcliffe and Kate Mulgrew were in it among others. It's the one where Daniel Radcliffe does one of the scenes in the nude. We sat on the third row, so we got an up-close look of everything. It was a little weird, but fun to have been able to see a play in New York City. In the 90's, my brother, husband, and I collected baseball cards. We got to meet several players at baseball card shows. We met Alex Rodriguez at an autograph event early in his career...very nice guy. |

Oh, I forgot one. Steve Martin back in the late 70's right after the "well, excuuuuuuuuse me" and King Tut stuff. Got his autograph too. He gave a great show-wore his famous white suit. Strange guy though-maybe he was just zoned out from doing the show.
