My sister, myself and our kids went out for an early dinner, and while we were getting ready to be seated this guy came in and looks around - and asks the waitress if they were open..I'm thinking huh? Duh!!! Well we are sittind down and directly across from us these two other guys come in and get seated..one has a hoodie up. I see the tatoos, and I knew right away that they were "someone" but I couldn't place them. They had iphones or whatever the $600 phones are now a days. I tell my sister that I am pretty sure they are someone famous..she has no clue. I can't let it be because I know that I *know* them but can't place it. I try to act like I am taking a picture of my sister but get them in the background and they seem oblivious to it. I figured I could at least take the picture home and ask dh if he knows who they are.

Finally my 10 yr old daughter whispers to me "hardy boyz!", and then it all came together, I remembered there is a WWE show in town tonight, and knew it. I am so awful I started shaking and took out my camera, a pen, and an envelope and was telling my sister I was just going to go ask..so I walk over and say "this is going to sound stupid-but are you the Hardy Boyz"...YEP came their response! They were soooooo nice! Let me take their picture and autograph, they were still in the middle of eating but I saw they already paid so I wanted to make sure I got the chance so I only took the one picture. I wish now that I would have had one of the kids get in the picture, but I literally thought I was going to burst into tears I was so excited. My sister was laughing at me hysterically.

argh! haha! Professional tag team wrestlers for the WWE. They are brothers..also don't feel bad..noone else in the entire restaurant knew...until they saw me getting their auto and pic. After they walked out the waitresses were all crowded around looking out the window after them and yelled to me do you know who that was..I told them the Hardzy Boys..met by their silence..so I said WWE questionly..to which they responded what's that..

I'm right there with ya! I was reading her post thinking that doesn't look like Shawn Cassidy! I don't follow WWE either, so I wouldn't have known them!

It's in Queensbury, NY. Then pen in the pic is the one I had them sign their autographs on (a plain envelope, the only thing I had with me!) and my daughter said we need to preserve that too, haha. Dh is at work and I just spoke with him and he was pretty shocked. I am still in awe that they were there..I have to make copies of the picture for the kids to take to school, and me blab about it at work.

Okay...well, since I am "required" by my boys to watch wrestling let me help some of you out:

Matt and Jeff Hardy are brothers. They are originally from North Carolina (or South Carolina??). They started in the WWE as a tag team, but have become stand-out individual wrestlers. Of late, the brothers are in a story line were they. are feuding and Matt (dark haired) has taken to attacking Jeff (multi-tatt'd, multi-color hair). Both are wildly popular with fans. Jeff is a high-flying energetic risk taker in the ring. Matt is an extreme competitor.
Jeff and Matt have been plagued by personal issues outside the ring (in real life)--Jeff has been suspended from participation in WWE events due to testing positive for banned substances (steroids), and one of the brothers house burnt down last year (I believe that was Jeff as well).
Dear lord---it's amazing what I have absorbed from having the WWE on in the background.

Aren't Matt and Jeff AWESOME !!! They are two of the sweetest guys ever. I have been following them since before they got their contracts with the WWE when they were in the Independent scene. I had many conversations with them they have wonderful hearts. My friend runs their merchandising for the Hardyshow and I moderate the temporarily on hiatus xtremeboard affiliated with Jeffnerohardy.com and Mathew-moore-hardy.com unofficial sites that Matt and Jeff both endorse and visit.

Glad you got to see them certainly a memory you will never forget !

Yep they are born and bred from Cameron North Carolina both still live there on Property belonging to their father who was a Tobacco farmer at one time he has I believe close to 40 acres I know he sold a couple acres to my friend Jim who wrestles in the indie scene as "Dick Foley".

Jeff was suspended not for steroids but for other drugs which he wont admit to but which some insiders say was meth others say crack. It depends on who you ask WWE insiders or other insiders from Independent Wrestling Federations. He has admitted he did wrong. Jeff is a talented artist he paints some awesome abstract type paintings he used to sell them on Ebay, has a band and writes some very deep poetry or as its called by him and the fans emoetry. Yes it was Jeff and Beth's home that burned down and they lost one of their beloved dogs Jack in the fire. They have since built a beautiful home.

Matt has had some bad luck in the last few years appendicitis busting and severe infection, Elbow surgery to remove bone chips, staph infection in his pectoral area and then the real life feud with Edge (Adam Copeland) who slept with his long-time Girlfriend Lita (Amy Dumas) when he was recovering from major knee reconstruction surgery. Dating and breaking up with WWE Diva Ashley Massasaro.

The feud right now was not supposed to be Matt and Jeff it was supposed to be Christian returning but everything leaked out.

I dont know anything about them LOL

Yes, they were very nice! You guys know a ton..I grew up watching it with my brothers, but that was with the "old timers". Now my husband watches it, and it's pretty much a background thing here too, but I have always had an interest in these two!

It's CC2U do you get to see them often? Of course I keep replaying the entire moment over in my head and know how much of a blubbering idiot I looked like, haha!!

Of course, these were the guys that I never heard the end of back when wrestling was watched in this house. I can still hear Trent and Fletch sitting in the living room yelling " Goooooolllllldddddbeerrrrggg..." The first time I watched WWF I thought the crowd was booing him instead of chanting his name.
