Hi all,

It's been a while since we've had a secret buddy exchange, so I thought I would put one together. I am willing to run either an adult or a child exchange, so was wondering which one you would be interested in (if I do a child exchange, I would want to include my kids, so hopefully that wouldn't be a problem).

So..would you please let me know if you are interested in an exchange and whether you prefer adult or child.

We would love to do it. I would prefer a kid's exchange, but am willing to do either. I can't imagine how including your own kids would be a problem, actually, I would expect it.

I would prefer an adult exchange, only because I don't have little kids. But I will patiently wait for the next one if this turns out to be a kid's exchange

I am interested in a kids exchange, however with things being so tight I would love to do a "regift" idea nothing used, just new things that weren't right for our children, or things from our stock piles (think 75% Target).

I enjoyed the ornament exchange so much (as did the kids) that I'm willing to give this a try whether it be adult or kids. Could someone first please clue me in as to how it works?

I'd love to do this. Either is fine with me..

I have only done 1 but it was fun. When you sign up, you list your likes/dislikes, hobbies, etc. Then when Auntnee sends you your buddy's name you know what kinds of things to get. There is a $ limit, like $10 and you just go to town getting whatever you can for your secret buddy. It was awesome last time, I got tons of stuff like candy, pens, stationery, a book, lip gloss, etc.

I assume the kids version works the same way only geared towards kids.

It is a lot of fun!

Thanks for explaining it for everyone Sandy..I had a small computer issue.

Like Sandy said...once you sign up, you pm me your information and likes and dislikes. I then randomly select your secret buddy and send you their information. After getting your buddy's info, you can start putting a box together for them. The box contents must be worth at least $10 (not including shipping). I will give a date that the boxes must be mailed by. You then ship it to your buddy. It is a lot of fun, I always enjoy reading the posts of what everyone receives.


mom27, I think your idea is just fine and a lot of people do use their stockpiles and such. The contents must be WORTH $10...but that doesn't mean you have to SPEND $10. A lot of people on here know how to get $10 worth of stuff for much less..lol

Yay!! I think we have enough people expressing interest to go ahead and do an exchange. I think I'm going to go ahead with BOTH exchanges. They are exactly alike, so there isn't any extra work. I will start a new thread for the actual sign ups later tonight. Thanks ladies...I'm looking forward to this!
