Thumbs up Daylight Savings Time...

Starts this Sunday. Woo Hoo!

It will still be light out after 7 p.m. here. Perfect for taking those after supper walks.

LOL, I was just complaining it will be dark in the mornings again starting next week. I was enjoying leaving for work when it was light outside and now it will be dark again. I guess it depends on your point of view!!!!

I'll just be glad to live and work in the same time zone again.

Oh my goodness, that must be an absolute NIGHTMARE! I can't even imagine that!

Me, I hate daylight savings time. I wish they'd just leave the time alone. Time's not supposed to change!

I agree with you! I hate daylight savings. It messes up my kids schedule. You can tell whoever thought it up was a guy, they don't have to deal with cranky kids who have to have naps moved up or back and hour. I'm not looking forward to it... Also, I have 8 am church... I'm not looking forward to this sunday.

I hate it. I'm already missing that hour of sleep we're going to have to do without on Sunday morning. I'm a night owl so I don't like mornings. I'll be glad that it's dark out in the morning when I drive the kids to school. That way I won't scare anyone who might see me at that time of day! Yes, I look pretty bad at 7:25 a.m. I really hated it when we moved to Atlanta from NJ. Since Atlanta sits more west, it would stay light out down here until about 9:00 P.M. DH would be on the road, I had no family down here, and the kids (ages 5, 3, and 3 months) would not want to go to bed when it was still light out. I was exhausted and it was pure hell. ~Lisa

LOL - that sounds like me. It drives dd nuts so she usually ends up changing the clock in my vehicle.

Ugh I hate DST ANY time it happens. I work in TV Listings and there is ALWAYS a problem. In fact I will be working the next several hours fixing some issues because of it, but at least I am at home instead of the office.

Add me to the people who don't like daylight savings.

No one can " save " daylight, they can only screw around with our clocks.
The kids have to go to school in the dark.
Then they have to go to bed in day light!

LUCKY LUCKY me. I live where there is NO time change. Arizona does not change time and I am so glad. Of course soon it will be daylight at 5 am. Just too weird sometimes.

Add me to the list of those who dislike dst.
I not only dislike it I HATE IT. and especially for the reasons Shirley mentioned. I've had to hand a doubled sheet over the window in DGD's bedroom to block out the light to try to get her to sleep on school nights.

We didn't used to change times in this part of Indiana until this stupid govenor we have now (ditch Mitch) decided a couple of years ago we now had to change the time. It's just unbelievable some of the stupid things he has done. Like, who ever heard tell of selling the toll road? Yup, that's one of his deeds.

The news last night said there would be an increase in heart attacks because of DST --- I don't get it. You only loose (maybe) one hour of sleep on one night. Why all the hub bub?

I'm assuming what they mean is since the day light will last longer now people will be out and about working in yards ,cars, houses, etc.

Daylight saving time last from March till Oct here. 8 months.

There are several sites with info. This was the first one of a long list.

I do like that I can look out the window at all the snow on the ground, and actually see it at 6:28 in the evening.
