Has anyone heard about this? I am not trying to scare anyone. My friend's landlord told him she is going to buy a "safe house" before 2012 to escape this tsunami.
She said something about all the planets are aligning and this is going to cause a bunch of natural disasters.

Yes, it's just like the bit Y2K scare. I saw a documentary on it within the last week and asked my son (the genius) and he said not to worry about it, so I'm not. Fun to have a genius son around! lol

I also saw a special about 2012 and everything happening. My show was about Nostrodoumas (sorry about spelling) I love watching his predicitions. Just like kathytheshopper said about the planets being lined up all this natural disaters are suppose to happen. I guess after 2012 it will be another year.

2012 - yea, the next "Y2K" - because the Mayan calender stops on Dec 21, 2012 some claim a great catastrophe. (iChing also has their calender stop on Dec 21, 2012 as do a few other calenders from other cultures)

The last thing I worried about were the clowns trying to recreate the Big-Bang with the particle accelerator last year.

Oh well, what 'cha gonna do....I'm done worrying about stuff out of my control.

The earth's magnetic poles are always shifting. It just takes a couple million years.

When I google 2012 I could not believe all the things I found. There are many different theories and predictions for this year. Could it be that EVERY SINGLE one of them is a crock? And why would so many unrelated people in so many different places at so many different times all have ideas about 2012? What about the Bible?
It could be something is going to happen. Hopefully it would be a shift in perspective rather than a shift of the actual physical world.

You know what scares me worse than this stuff?

So many people believe this stuff and it gains credibility each time someone references it. I always think of my Nana going on and on about who killed the Kennedys and Marilyn Monroe. Then, when the discussion turned to the actual hard evidence, there never was any, except, "Yah, it was in the Enquirer! How can they say it if it isn't true?"
