Anyone familiar with an Ipod Touch? My 13 yr old son was looking/playing with his sister's ipod, which she has only had for one day. We got it used and it was working fine until my son decided to play with it. Now, all we get is a white screen when turned on. Anyone ever had problems similar to this and could offer some help?

We did talk to Apple support system, and they gave us a website to help us, but so far, we haven't figured it out. For $29.99, they will walk us through this, but we're trying to do it on our own for now. I suppose it's possible that it will need to be sent in for repair, but I hope that is not the case.

I don't know if this will work for you. Every now and then my ipod freezes, I leave it on (can't turn it off anyway) and wait for the battery to completely die. Once it's dead, I recharge it and then it's fine.

Thanks for the replies. Daughter was able to restart it by pressing the on/off and the home button at same time for 10 seconds. She was able to get this information on Apple site.
