Need Ideas: Albert Einstein Dress up

DD is in 3rd grade. They are doing a book report. (a biography book report). She wanted to do Albert Einstein. I tried to talk her out of it, since they have to dress up like their person to present report...

I'm not creativa AT ALL!...I need some ideas of how to dress her up like 'AL' to present her report!!

TIA~!

You got anything to make thick white mustache and eyebrows? Tease her hair and dust it with cornstarch?

I think Susiecat is on the right track. I would add round framed glasses and a cartigan sweater.

I was just thinking again.. Cotton balls for mustache and eyebrows! A tie with the sweater would be cute!

This one should be fairly easy to do. If you don't have old man clothes on hand (he would not have been considered a sharp dresser...loL), pick something up at the Salvation Army. Rat and white out the hair or get a bald man wig.....use some stick-on fur to make mustache and eyebrows. Be sure that the tie isn't tied well and is crumpled off to one side or the other.

Hats off to your daughter for choosing Albert Einstein! Way to go!

Everyone has had great ideas for the hair and mustache. I'd definitely go with a thrift store suit if possible (remember A.E. is known for just owning multiples of the same suit so he was always dressed the same). Look at some pics (like the ones posted) and try to keep it simple and I'm sure you'll come up with something great.

Hi everyone...I have a couple people looking for a wig for me...If not I'll figure out something. Thank you all for good ideas...I went to thrift stores today...4 of them...either the suit were too big or too small...I might stop at another one tonight on way to DH's moms bday party.

Keep the ideas coming! Thank you!

Back when mine were the age for doing this kind of thing, I'd have them wear mostly their own clothes. Like in this case, a pair of dark pants and a white shirt....so I wouldn't look for a suit, but just a sport coat....and I'd look in my closet or DH's first. Look in the boys and the womens sections for a a tweed jacket...

Good luck.
