I am cheering for Shawn Johnson since she's from the great state of Iowa! Melissa did a great job on such quick notice but she does have dance training. Any thoughts?

I loved Shawn. I thought that Steve Wazniak (the apple guy) had a great humor about him and had a lot of fun. I wonder HOW they got him to commit to this????

I missed Melissa but I also thought that Gilles (never seen him before so I don't know why he's a *star*) was AWESOME. Not like a typical first dance at all.

I thought they all were off to a good start. I admire them for stepping out of their comfort zone and trying something new. I really enjoyed Shawn, she was very graceful, I am sure being a gymnast helped with that. I thought that Melissa was great for only having two days of practice. From what I picked up, she took ballet when she was a child, and was also a professional cheerleader, but didn't have any formal dance training. It was a fun show to watch!
