I really need to paint in my house. I HATE to paint. All the prep, mess, cutting in, baseboards & trim - I HATE IT HATE IT HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you have some inspiring words for me I'd really like to hear them.

Think of how nice your house will look after it is all done. Just dedicate a room a day/night and go from there. Put on some headphones and just zone in on the job at hand.

Oh, and pick a color(s) that you know you can live with for a few years!

I've had a Foreman Grill for about six years. I've done about 85% of my cooking on it, but I've never burnt myself. Probably because I don't use it as a pillow.

Too bad you don't live close, I actually like to paint and so far I have never even had a need to tape off first. I know this is wierd as I don't know of anyone else that doesn't HATE painting.

I enjoy painting and wallpapering. People I know hate it too because its a chore for them so they ask me! lol

Just think after the painting your house will look new and refreshed! Thats what I look forward to and it has your taste and design so that makes it more a home.

I also like to paint and wallpaper. I actually find it relaxing and it's such a nice feeling when it's done and looks so good. As Sunnyday said, headphones might help you pass the time. On a really big job, I listened to an audio book while I worked. The time flew.

I too hate to paint. I know how you feel. I started my spring cleaning early this year so I can get at least some of my painting done. I am working on the trim in my entrance hall right now. I really HATE it. If you can afford it maybe you can hire someone to come in and do it. Right now it just isn't in my budget or I would.

I also love to paint and I don't tape off either. I tried taping once and it turned out awful. I painted every wall in my house last summer and my arms got super buff!
