I personally dont' agree that each person in the neighboorhood needs to be notified by the police when a sex offender moves in, I still think that's the parents responsibliity. The family watchdog program was not up to date with the sxual offenders living in my area out of the 3, one offender was missing and the original charges were missing off one and no residential address were listed for any of them. So not accurate in my point of view.

However, I did want to throw out a possible option to use. What about using your Neighborhood Watch Program? Maybe someone in your Neighborhood Watch Program would willing to keep a check on this and send notices out to neighbors if a sex offender moves in. This seems as though it would be right up their alley and something they might be interested in doing? Just an idea.
