I Just Have To Vent

I had a dentist appt. at 2p.m. today the office is literally 3 mins. from my house by car. I came out of the office 20mins. later and I had a ticket for $25.00 for overtime parking. The local dog office decided to put on the ticket that I was parked at this spot from 11a.m. till 2pm. Now mind you I just wanted to go home after getting my tooth drilled and filled. So I had to go to the police station who then told me I had to go to the parking clerks office at Town Hall of course she is out sick today. I was told I needed proof of the time of my appt. so I had to go back to the dentist to get an appt. card with the time of my appt. on it and now I have to go back to Town Hall tomorrow to plead my case. This is all because he had a badge and its his word against mind.I was having a great day off from work until this happened. And how was your day?

I think local dog office translates into Barney Fife(sp?)from Mayberry.

That takes some big ones to out and out LIE while writing up a ticket. Too bad you have proof of when your were there. It sucks that you'll have to do all that extra runing around to clear it up but take satisfaction that you can make 'ol Barney eat his ticket!
