Thumbs up Eagle Cam

I found this on another website I frequent. Right now both parents are there feeding the 3 babiles.

Here in Maine we also have an Eagle Cam, but it will be a while, the eagle just layed the eggs last week. We also have a Loon Cam. We watched both last year. It was amazing to watch the Eagles take their first flight. I found with the Loons, I got way too emotional. We watched as they grew and followed them for the entire summer, but in the fall, sadly they disappeared and it was believed that a hawk got them. It was very sad. I enjoyed watching the mother and father take turns sitting on the eggs and caring for the loons. The mother was so distraught when the babies were gone...

ACK! Nature is so cruel sometimes. A couple of years ago I had a Mockingbird nest out in my backyard. I was so excited to see 3 eggs in it.

Several days before the eggs were due to hatch I went out to take a look and they were all gone. Something, a squirrel I think, had taken them. I bawled like a baby.
