Anyone remember the name of the company that makes Easter Eggs?

I'm 41 and when I was a kid and in my early teen years, we would buy Easter eggs at the store. They still made the peanut butter ones up until a couple years ago when I stopped seeing them. I didn't care too much for those, but I really like the Fruit 'n Nut eggs they had. Does anyone remember the name of the company? The smaller eggs were about as big around as a baseball. I'd really love to find them if they still make them, but just not in my area.

I do not know what was in your area, but you just brought back memories of my Easter baskets full of nasty Elmer's eggs when I was a kid. I liked them then, but now......yuk! lol

In my area it is Mary Sue Easter eggs. They are the very best. This year I found them only in wal mart and their whole shipment was smashed. I bought them anyway because they taste so good.

Elmer's sounds right/familiar as groovygirl said. When I was a kid they only had Fruit n' Nut and Coconut. They were a lot bigger than the ones I see today. Oh my gosh...the memories!

We had See's eggs in our baskets because we grew up right near the See's factory and store. Yummy.

You must be a lot younger than me....lol. We had cream ones(cherry, orange, etc.) The fruit and nut, of course, goldbrick, and heavenly hash. All Elmer's, all nasty!! lol

We loved them then.

I can still hear the jingle "here's a treat that is sunny for your Easter bunny. The creamiest candy that's made. Mary Sue Easter eggs, Mary Sue Easter eggs brighten your Easter parade".

Or, at least those are the words the way I remember them.

Everyone in my family had a favorite - vanilla buttercream, peanut butter, chocolate buttercream. Yummmmm.

Thanks for that memory!

I don't remember those kinds of eggs, but for as long as I can remember our local ladies auxcillary make the homemade ones. They make cream-filled and peanut butter ones and they are delicious!! They have them at our local stores.
