what are you reading this month ? April

I am presently reading the book..." The 5 people you meet in heaven" Quick read..interesting , but not too thought provoking I'd say.

Finished reading the autobiography on lawyer Leslie Abramson. She defended the Menendez brothers among others. I thought that was a good read.

OP, have you watched the movie, 'The 5 People You Meet in Heaven'? It's really good. I tried to read the book but couldn't get into it but enjoyed the movie.

Right now, I'm reading "Marley & Me".

War with the Newts - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Found it in a used bookstore, and while the translation seems a bit clunky, it's decent so far.

I love that book, too!

I just finished The Story of Edgar Sawtelle and now I'm reading The Solace of Leaving Early by Haven Kimmel.

I am re-reading The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls. It's about a woman who overcame a bizarre family life to become a college educated best selling writer. A truly gut-wrenching but enthralling book!!!

CJS, I read the "No ***hole Rule" when it first came out. I liked it!! Of course, I read parts of it out loud to my coworkers where I work. I strategically read special parts at the right time.

I was reading The Amazing Adventures of DietGirl, but I can't find my book! I only had a few pages left too.

Cute read.

I just finished 2 this weekend, True Colors by Kristin Hannah and The Returning by Ann Tatlock, both pretty good, nothing earth shattering but they kept my interest.

I tried Edgar Sawtell and just could not get into it. It's still around here somewhere but if it doesn't grab me I won't finish it.

I do like Dan Brown and I read the Time Traveler's Wife, it was awesome! Long from what I remember, but worth the time.

I can't recommend enough the book "I Love a Man in Uniform: A Memoir of Love, War, and Other Battles" by Lily Burana. I read it in 2 sittings. I would have read it all at once but work got in the way. Fantastic.
