That's Murfreesboro, Tennessee

They said that it was all over the national news - we didn't see it (no power), we lived it. Our house is still standing with very minor damage to the roof, two windows broken, gazebo dead, and my favorite tree, too. A few houses down the street the houses are gone. We are soooo lucky!!!
There are a couple more people from Murfreesboro on this board ... how are you doing?

So glad that your family is okay. I have seen pictures of the aftermath and just don't know where a person begins to sort, cleanup, rebuild. You really do have to look at the all the positives and not negatives. You have the right attitude.

bingding, glad you and your family are safe. I am about 16 miles (live in Wilson County) from the worst of the tornado damage Sirens went off here and we lost some branches, thankfully that was all. My boys (almost 15 and almost 12) were home alone when the sirens went off and I saw a wall of black south of here - in your direction. Came home to find smart boys in bathtub with pillows to protect their heads! So sad about the man who lost his wife and baby girl. I hope he has some family to love and support him through this.
