Can't believe no one has posted on this issue. What are your thoughts? I was just in tears when I heard he was aboard the Bainbridge and safe. DH works for Maersk. It was an interesting week. DH is also a Captain in the maritime industry. While he did sail for quite some time, I am happy to have him behind a desk! Happy Easter to the family!

Very little coverage on how this went down....is that to protect the strategies and technicques of the SEALs?

So happy to have this brought to a good outcome. Poo on the news media for acting like it was taking too long, yadda, yadda....sometimes it takes awhile to make sure the execution is flawless.

If you kill hostages what reason do we have to not just barge in and light you up with 50 cals at close range? Hostages are the only leverage you've got.

I'm thrilled the captain is safe! When I saw the report a couple days back about how he tried to jump off the boat and escape on his own, my first thought was that he knew there were US warships there and maybe thought SEALs were nearby underwater...
