How sad. Remember Maude? That was a spin off from All in the Family which besides Happy Days had more spin offs than any other show. I love her! I still watch The Golden Girls every morning and I know every single episode. God Bless Her she gave us lots of laughs!

so sad she was a wonderful extremely funny actress. She will be missed by many and I watch the reruns of the golden girls all the time and they were so funny and yes I also remember Maude... Rest in peace.... you'll make them laugh in heaven now with all the other great ones that have passed.... Peace. Catherine

Ahhh. . .that's sad. I used to love her as Maude. . .she would give Archie a run for his money. . lol! I do remember hearing before that she had cancer. Does anybody know what kind? Well. .. it sounds like she died peacefully with her family. . .I guess that's all you can ask for. RIP Bea.

She was a wonderful woman. Shy and reserved, but very strong spirited. From Maude to Golden Girls, she always made me smile. Her home is on a beautiful cul de sac in Beverly Hills. Her next door neighbor is S. Combs and across the street from her is Kathy Bates. She will be missed.
