Unique Mother's Day gift ideas?

I need to order/get something for my DS' stepmom. In the past, I've typically sent flowers, bought frames, Bath & Body, etc. This year, I would like to do something a little more interesting. They sent me a pajama gram last year and a few years before that sent a cute necklace from Red Envelope.

Any ideas for something tasteful and nice, but a little out the of the ordinary?

Thanks!

Kim

Have you ever ordered Shari's Berries? We absolutely love them. They are huge, delicious strawberries dipped in chocolate and then sprinkled with nuts, choc chips, coconut, etc. They have Mother's Day specials going on right now. They only overnight them to maintain their quality. And, they're a little pricey, but you won't regret it - they're awesome!

I think it is very nice of you to think of your son's stepmom. What a nice woman you must be. I think your idea of Bath Bodyworks is a great idea. Don't know how old son is, but if younger, maybe he could draw her a picture and you could put it in a frame.

What is she into? Give her something that is connected to her hobbies or collections or likes. That's a good gift.

You do something for his stepmom ? How nice !

Last year, I got my mom a delivery subscription for the Sunday paper, she always went to get it at the store.

This year, I am going to give her a gift certificate for a full detail for her vehicle.

Not sure either fits in with your person, but I've come to try and find things that can help her along, not something expensive, cheesy, or hardly useful.

What a fabulous idea! If it were moi-self (someone who drives the Trashmobile, lovingly referred to here at as *Mo*, loaded w/kids ;-) I would love, love, love that gift.
I heard an interesting MD gift idea today on the radio. The host of the show, for 5 consecutive years, planted a *Mother's Day Garden* for her mom. Would I love that?! Does a bear evacuate it's bowels in the woods?! ;-)
She began by planting a few perennials and annuals and afterwards added annuals and perennials.
I told my oldest DD, who was listening at the same time, this is the *only* thing *I* would like this MD (besides having DH take em all out for a movie for a few hours ;-)

Thank you all so much for the ideas! I love them. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, but I've got lots to choose from!

Thanks!

I went on Walgreens.com and ordered my mom 2 photo books. These are nicer than just an envelope full of photos. I choose the hardback books. (What made it nice was that she was up here for spring break so it is also a nice reminder of her trip.)
