| David Cooks brother died
I just read it on google news. He fought a long hard battle. At least now he will be at peace. God bless them all.

He announced it this morning here in Washington DC at the 5K Race/Walk for the Cure. His brother passed away yesterday, but David still held up his commitment for the fight and came out for the run. 11 years is how long Adam fought this battle with brain cancer. May he rest in peace and may there one day be a cure for all cancers. My sympathy and prayers to the whole Cook family.

11 years.....how sad. His suffering is now over. My sympathy to the family and friends. I've always been impressed with the way David Cook has handled himself. He is a class act and I hope that he will find some peace with time. cj/

He won American Idol last year, really nice guy from what I have heard from a neighbor who got to do a meet and greet at a concert. Still very down to earth and caring for his family and especially his brother, it was his brother if I recall who encouraged him to try out for American Idol.

I dont watch idol so no idea who he was either. also have a friend who had most of a tumor removed recently, 1/2 way done with the treatments now.
