flying over my house a few minutes ago. He or she was being pursued by two very angry crows. The eagle actually perched on a telephone pole across the street from my house. I ran inside to grab my camera and, just as I got ready to take a photo, the crows scared it off.

I did get one not so great shot of the eagle being dive bombed by the crows as it was circling over my head.



I had never seen a Bald Eagle in the wild before I moved to Florida. Even though I've seen quite a few, after living down here for nearly 5 years, each and every time you see one it's a thrill!

what a striking photo ! I'd see bald eagles all the time when we lived by the river in Va. Once my dh and I were traveling down a back road and 2 eagles sprang up from the side of the road, right in front of us ! We must have startled them..thanks for sharing !

I too live along a river(in WI) and am fortunate to see bald eagles. They are magnifique!
