| HELP - Amazing Race ideas for birthday
I was wondering if you could help me out with something. I have started planning my daughter's 15th birthday party as an Amazing Birthday Race. I was wondering if you could help me come up with some Road blocks or detours. I know it's hard to come up with these ideas as I have been working on this for weeks now. I've searched online but most of the ones that are discussed won't work for me as their parties were indoors. Let me know if you think of anything..... Here are a couple that I have: You will need to go into Wal-greens and buy a birthday card for Elena. Both team members must sign the birthday card, place it in the envelope, write Elena's name on the outside and hand it to the chauffer to receive the next clue. Another I have is - There is a grocery store in this shopping center so they have to go to the grocery store parking lot and get a shopping cart from the parking lot and return it to the inside of the store (NO RUNNING!), this helps out the store as well! :0) These are the types of clues/assignments/challenges I'm looking for. Any advice is welcome! atrade4u@gmail.com Thanks!! Patty |

What an awesome idea. I know one of my daughters friends had a scavenger hunt for her birthday and the kids had a blast- get a pencil, get a penny with the year she was born on it, a piece of candy or chewing gum, get the front page of a paper, get something with a states name on it, but not the state you live in etc.....Only one object per house/person. For senior slave day, they made the freshman dress up in some pretty wierd outfits and they had to pump gas for 5 cars, then they had to wash the windows of 5 cars. They got some pretty wierd looks but folks did go along with them. When she looks back on it now, she laughs and says they had so much fun. I think I may borrow the idea (if that is o.k) and do the same thing. Don't know if I can wait until her birthday this fall though! Let us know how it turns out. |

A friend just had one for her DDs 10th bday. They had to go to the grocery store and buy a pre-made list of about 10 items. Those items then had to be delivered to the local food pantry. They went to the bowling alley and could pick bumpers or no bumpers. Choosing bumpers meant you had to roll a strike. no bumpers meant you had to get at least 7 pins before next clue. Clue then sent them to park whey they had to search or perform. Searching was a scavenger hunt, performing meant they had to sing a school song to an audience of 3. Then they had to go to the local school and the entire team had to run 2 laps around the track. Then it was back to the birthday house for the finish line. Have fun planning your daughter's party! |
